Humble Beginnings

In the spring of 2009, Patrick was approached by a friend who needed a website. His budget was nearly nonexistent, but Patrick was up for the challenge. With nearly ten years of graphic design experience and a knack for learning new technologies, he was confident he could pull it off. But it didn’t take long before Patrick realized there was more to web design than pretty graphics and a bit of code.

Patrick began cranking out websites for friends, family, and Google-driven leads. He was kickin’ butt and taking names. Or so he thought. The tools, technologies, and skills being used in web design were continuously evolving. He realized that if he was to remain relevant, he’d have to (as Seth Godin would say) become a category of one—differentiating himself from competitors by going beyond web design.

Fast forward a decade. 73CREATIV (a hybrid answer to Patrick’s previous company) is the result of years of hard work and determination.
