Me:
“Life is too short to learn proper German”

My German is not perfect and I learned to live with that.
It is good enough for all I need and I still learning all the time, but some things are just too complicated.

I think Mark Twain explained it the best:

I come originally from Israel.
In Hebrew my name has a beautiful and simple meaning: Or is light and Shahar is dawn.
It is a pretty common name and is considered really easy to pronounce.

When I traveled and then moved to Germany, my name became an inconvenience.
I have to explain and spell it every single time I meet someone new.

At some point, I even considered changing my name.
But the wish to stay authentic is more significant than the embarrassment or the fear of discrimination.

March is not just International Women's Day, it is also Endometriosis Awareness Month!

— Endometriosis is a disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain and/or infertility.

— Endometriosis affects roughly 10% (190 million) of reproductive-age women and girls globally.

— The variable and broad symptoms of endometriosis mean that healthcare workers do not easily diagnose it... ... This can cause a lengthy delay between the onset of symptoms and diagnosis.

— At present, there is no known cure for endometriosis, and treatment is usually aimed at controlling symptoms.

I also suffer from Endometriosis.
It is hard to point down when exactly my symptoms started,
but I assume around 12 years of delay in my diagnosis.
My life might have been very different had I got diagnosed earlier.

So here is the deal:
