You may have heard that the holiday season/Q4 is often a more expensive time of year to run ads. And it's true...for advertising across the board.

Does that mean you should NOT run ads?

Absolutely not. You NEED to be running ads during the holiday season.

Here’s why. 👇

You want to keep your pipeline full! If you pull out of advertising during the holiday season, you start the new year and Q1 with ZERO leads coming in. That’s obviously not how you want to start off the new year.

Ask yourself this:
❓ Do you want to be the venue that’s booked out?
❓ Or do you want to be the venue that is struggling to stay booked?

It's a rhetorical question, right?😉

If you want to be the most sought out venue or photographer in your area by YOUR IDEAL COUPLE, they need to know you exist.

The work and advertising you do now is setting you up for success next year. If you wait until January 1st, you’re already behind.

Have you tried to run your own ads only to end up frustrated?😤

I totally get it. While it's tempting to think that social media ads are a “do it yourself” opportunity, the truth is…

👉 Ads are complicated.

There are so many factors to consider, so much strategy to develop, and so much data to understand. It really takes a professional who has expert knowledge and experience to make sure your campaigns and investment are set up for success.

📣Ads are for generating leads. Your website is for making the sale. While these two work together, they are NOT the same thing.

✅ You need high-performing ads to bring in high-quality leads.
✅ You need a high-converting website to turn traffic and leads into sales.

If your ads are performing well, but you're not making sales...it sounds like you have a website problem.

Why do I say this? 🤔

It's not uncommon for people to expect ads to fix their sales problems. Yes, ads can generate TONS of high-quality leads that will ultimately help you get booked out.

However, you ALSO need to...

👉 Have a high-converting website with stellar copy and a seamless user experience.
👉 Master your sales process and fine-tune the areas that are lacking.
👉 Make sure you know how to close a client!

Ultimately, you need to make sure your sales system is already working well all on its own before running ads.

Once your sales process is in place and converting well, bring in ads to SCALE 🙌and AMPLIFY 🙌the success you are already seeing.

If your ads are performing well, but ultimately not converting, this could easily be the problem.👇

(I literally have a physical reaction when I hear people doing this with their ads.)

DO NOT LINK TO YOUR HOME PAGE.

There are VERY FEW situations where simply linking your ad to your homepage would be appropriate. Even in those situations, I would be willing to bet that you could come up with a better solution to improve the buyer experience.

Think about it. You’ve already…

✅Researched and developed your ideal client avatar
✅Carefully crafted your message
✅Designed scroll-stopping creative
✅Lured them in with an offer they can’t refuse

😱 And then you’re going to send them to your home page and say, “You’re on your own now, kid!”

No! No! No!

You need to guide your potential buyers to take the action you want out of them.

Want them to purchase a specific service?
👉Direct them to that landing page.

Want them to book a site visit?
👉Direct them to the booking form.

Whatever it is that your ads promised and whatever it is you want them to do…GUIDE THEM DIRECTLY TO IT.
