Nashville's Materializer just unleashed the video for "Unwind." Decibel Magazine calls the duo's psych-tinged stoner/doom sound captivating and effective, noting the track "coils and swirls as much as it embraces riff-first doom, recalling Queens of the Stone Age, Uncle Acid, Mastodon and Melvins."

On writing their first record as a duo, the band says: "We wanted to create the heaviest record we’ve been a part of while also leaning into our roots of melodic vocals, emphasizing on compression and release, chaos and serenity, and balancing the light and dark in a way that feels in harmony with the world around us.”

"Unwind" will be streaming on all platforms tomorrow. As The Body Flies will be released on October 2.

Thank you to Decibel Magazine and writer Emily Bellino for the premiere! Check out the video below.

Baltimore emo trio The Unheard Ones bring lost 1990s recordings to light with Stories and Songs, out this Friday, September 18 on on Handstand Records, benefiting MusiCares.

Today they share the single and video for "Eight Minute Absolution." Watch it now, only on New Noise Magazine!

'Eight Minute Absolution' isn't eight minutes long; we always kept the songs short, sharp, and to the point," says Tim Kabara (vocals/guitar). "It's the other side of the Unheard Ones coin, a refined capturing of the fire and fury of our live shows. Get you a band that can do both. We only played it first in our sets a handful of times, a bad logistical move to shred your guitar that hard first song, but folks remember us starting with it every time. I guess it hit that hard."
