For background, I am a native Houstonian and have been fortunate to work in the photography/video business in my hometown since my first job at the Johnson Space Center's Public Affairs Dept. as a Technical Director for Shuttle Mission TV. We planned and produced
the downlink television broadcasts from the space shuttle missions in flight as well as worked with media from around the world doing on-site shoots between flights. Following NASA, I worked at KHOU-TV as a news video editor. Made some more great friends and cut my teeth on the editing side of the business. Following the arrival of our second child, I started my own photography business and focused on family, seniors, and business portraiture. I also shot recitals for Adamson Ballet in Katy and volunteered on the Tall Ship Elissa as Youth Crew Photographer for many years. One of my business clients was Dr. George Schudy whom I knew because my daughters had their orthodontic treatment with his office. After photographing his patients for display for his office wall, I was hired for PR work and also was in charge of creating content for his FB page, materials for in-office flyers, school/sports donations, and colleague holiday gifts. Now, as an 'empty-nester', I have once again started my own business to encompass the new world of social media with my photo/video experience and the desire to create visuals revolving around your business needs.
