“O Lord, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!”
So the Lord defeated the 1,000,000 Ethiopians in the presence of Asa and the army of Judah, and the enemy fled.
"The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.”
I am still amazed at how God fights for those who trust in Him and gives them victory over their enemies. At the same time, I feel saddened when people choose to rely on human strength instead of depending on God’s help.
For example, King Asa in the Bible trusted God in his early years. But later in his life, he turned to King Ben-Hadad for help instead of calling out to God. 1 Chronicles 14
He had already witnessed how God delivered him from an army of one million men, yet he still chose to rely on human strength—and that decision led to his downfall.
Whatever you are going through right now—financial problems, job struggles, sickness, exhaustion, loss, dissatisfaction, or lack of peace—remember that when you call on God and obey His Word,
God will fight your battles.
Jesus will give you victory.
The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. - 2 Chronicles 16
True security, stability, and survival depend entirely on trusting God's promises rather than relying on human strength or fear.
Choose faith in God over fear at all times.
