According to a source, LeatherBoot was one of the main attackers who sought to topple the government and subsequently received a gunshot on his feet from a crossfire and later passed away.
According to a source, Leather Boot and the other attackers had been in Freetown for over 5 days before to the assault.
The narrative encompasses a broad scope, but let us confine the elucidation to the demise of the notorious Leather Boot.
Leather Boot and four additional individuals were transported by a driver who is allegedly named Janneh. The individual referred to as Janneh is employed as a driver and is responsible for driving one of the high-ranking military officials.
He lives in a building within the logistics section of Murray Town barracks as his residence.
Janneh purportedly presented a compelling justification to his boss, who, in good faith, granted him permission to leave.
The source continues:
Janneh had previously colluded with the attackers, and he took advantage of that situation to take LeatherBoot and four additional individuals to the logistic section of Murray Town Barracks on Saturday.
LeatherBoot and four additional individuals stationed at the site were equipped with weapons, prepared for combat activities to commence in the Armoury.
While Janneh was escorting the attackers within the premises, he deceived the gate guards by falsely claiming that he and the five camouflaged assailants were present to collect water.
Janneh managed to confine the 5 attackers within the premises before fleeing, leaving his whereabouts both currently and previously undisclosed.
Following the ex*****on of the attacks by the assailants at Wilberforce barracks and Cockrill, there was a disclosure of information indicating the possibility of individuals being held covertly within a location at the transport facility. A search was executed, resulting in the identification of the location where they were concealed.
