HOW TO CREATE SOLID BRAND RECOGNITION🔥👏🏼
One of the BEST pieces of advice I can share when it comes to nailing down your brand recognition is to stick to YOUR brand guide. 🙌🏻
Think of it like following the directions when building a new piece of furniture… but wayyy more simpler than that! 😉
When focusing on creating tip top brand recognition here's the 3 most important things to remember (and get ready because it’s a dooooozy):
1️⃣ Follow what your BRAND GUIDE says!!
If you had branding professionally created, follow exactly what your designer put together for you. In fact, they strategically put your brand together so that it stands out and creates a unique face for your business.
Use these exact items they gave you:
👉🏼 Logos
👉🏼 Fonts
👉🏼 Colors (the exact hex code)
👉🏼 Patterns/Elements
2️⃣ Don’t get distracted.
It’s so easy to go on Pinterest or scroll on Instagram for inspiration. However, most of the time you are “scrolling on Instagram” is because you are either bored with your branding or you don’t know what to create. Take this opportunity to STICK to your branding and create something original. Canva has SOOOO many wonderful templates, but you NEED to change them to match your branding suite.
3️⃣ Create Canva templates!!!!
Y’ALL 👏 Canva is like the best freakin invention for all of you who need SIMPLE access to creating graphics for your business. Set aside ONE hour next week to create 10 feed post templates & 10 story templates with YOUR branding fonts, colors, etc.
I've learned so much in the past 1.5+ years at design school to further expand my knowledge on all things colors, typography, web design and more so I can continue to serve you and all my clients better.
Because here’s the truth of the matter: When you use your branding guide and you are consistent with it, people WILL remember who you are!
