Slick - 14 year old papered AQHA sorrel gelding. He is an extremely sweet guy. UTD on deworming and vaccinations. Currently has shoes on all 4.

Great on trails, goes ba****ck, works cattle on the range, carry a flag in rodeo grand entry, barrel race, breakaway rope, gymkhana etc..

Asking 15k open to offers for quick and uncomplicated sale. Hubby’s horse that he does not have time to ride and keep fit. We have let teen daughter ride him at some rodeo’s the last few months. Since June he has just been turned out, except for odd ba****ck trail ride.

We have too many horses and this one is too nice to be just sitting around not being used.

Stanley
2019 AQHA Registered Bay Roan Gelding | 16.2 HH

A standout prospect for the discerning rider, Stanley is a striking, big-bodied gelding combining presence, versatility, and a kind, people-first disposition. At 16.2 hands, he offers the size, substance, and movement to be highly competitive in both the western or English arenas.

Stanley is an exceptionally personable horse—easy to have in the barn, eager to please, and thrives on attention. He carries himself with natural cadence and softness, making him a beautiful fit for the dressage ring, while his willingness and work ethic translate seamlessly into ranch riding.

In 2026 he started breakaway roping at jackpots and multiple rodeo performances in front of large crowds. Good with the barrier, loves chasing cattle. Used to tractors, machines, dogs, cattle.

Outside the arena, Stanley is equally capable. He has experience working cattle, enjoys a job, and is comfortable being roped off of. He has been thoughtfully started in multiple directions, giving his next owner the opportunity to take him forward in the discipline of their choice.

He is uncomplicated and reliable in day-to-day handling:
• Hauls and loads quietly
• Excellent for the farrier
• Enjoys grooming and attention
• Up to date on vaccinations, dental, and deworming (March 2026)

Stanley has strong, healthy feet and has remained sound, working barefoot on tough ground without issue.

On the trail, he goes out alone or in a group, and suitable for a variety of riders. He has been trusted with beginners in a controlled setting and handles it with ease.

He thrives in a full time turnout environment and is happiest living in a herd with plenty of space to move.

Stanley is a quality gelding with the talent and temperament to excel in a competitive program. He would be best suited to a knowledgeable, show-oriented home looking to develop a versatile and eye-catching partner.

🌟 Student Spotlight – Anna Davison 🌟

Anna, 15, started taking riding lessons here at the ranch this spring, and what an incredible few months it has been! She now full-leases Bill’s wonderful mare, Stella, and is committed to two riding lessons each week.

This week, Anna has been having a blast chasing steers, learning how to track cattle, and getting her first introduction to roping. It’s exciting to watch her confidence and horsemanship grow with every ride.

Anna has also jumped into the rodeo world, competing in barrel racing at her very first BCRA rodeo here in Princeton, and then joining us last week at the BCRA Rodeo in Bella Coola.

We’re so proud of Anna’s dedication, positive attitude, and huge progression in such a short time. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store. Keep having fun and chasing those goals, Anna! 🤠🐴

Quality Horses Available
As our program continues to evolve, we've made the decision to offer a select group of quality horses to the right homes. Each has been carefully raised or developed, and we're looking for riders who will appreciate their potential.

🔹 Vintage Josie Blue “Josie” (AQHA) – 2-year-old bay roan filly. Extensive groundwork with an exceptional foundation. She trailers beautifully, is easy to handle, has worn a saddle, carries a bit, raised with cattle and is ready to be started under saddle. Has Magnum Chic Dream on the bottom side. An incredibly people-oriented filly with a sweet, willing personality who genuinely enjoys being with her person. UTD on teeth, vaccinations, deworming & feet. High four figures.

🔹 Miss Bakken “Betty” – 4-year-old registered Thoroughbred, 15.2hh dark bay mare. Ranch-raised since she was two years old and never raced. Started lightly as a three-year-old, then given time to mature and is now starting back under saddle. She is good on trail rides, loves tracking cattle, and started basic roping. This quiet-minded mare is versatile and has the potential to excel in a variety of disciplines and would make a great high school rodeo prospect. Lowest five figures. UTD on teeth, vaccinations, deworming & feet.

🔹 Dragonfly Tipsy “Momma” AQHA 2004 mare – “Momma” is a beautiful, well-built foundation broodmare with sought-after Two Eyed Jack bloodlines. She produced a lovely, correct c**t in 2025 and was not rebred this season due to us being too busy with rodeo. While her training under saddle is unknown, she is sound and may also have potential as a riding horse with the right person. Very low asking 🥕as a knowledgeable, loving home is a must for this special mare.

🔹 Slick City Chant“Slick” AQHA Sorrel Gelding – 14 years old, approximately 15.1–15.2 hh. A true all-around horse with experience in gymkhana, breakaway roping, barrels, trail riding, and cattle work. He knows the barrel pattern, has been there and done that, and has the kind, dependable personality everyone appreciates. An exceptionally sweet gelding who is ready to become someone’s next trusted partner. Lower five figures

If you're looking for a quality partner with a solid foundation and a bright future, I'd be happy to discuss which horse might be the best fit for your goals. Serious inquiries are welcome. Photos, videos, and additional information are available upon request. Located in Princeton, BC
