🥹 Thanks so much for the kind words!

👏 Thank you for all the positive support of my Helpline which opens on Monday night at 7PM. There are several behind the scene people to thank because without them new ideas like this can’t even occur.

👏 First off thank you Pam Peterson Smith of Creative Pear Marketing & Design in Plymouth for the logo. We went through so many versions and Pam remained so patient. After it was finalized a vendor friend suggested an entire concept change. The logo went from a phone to our mainstay logo holding a phone. Pam rolled with it and made it what it is today. She is the one who hand created our pilgrim woman logo 11 years ago and she has been on this journey with me ever since. ♥️
👏 Another thanks goes to Paige Burns of Main Paige Media LLC for creating the videos in a single day. I’m a quirky client and she rolled with it with patience, a creative eye and as a great storyteller. We’ve worked together in the past and I’m grateful for her expertise and patience with her ADD clients. 😂
👏 A video and concept is no good without a leader to promote it. Amber, a PR professional at Ivy Hill Strategies is our Queen cheerleader. She also had to endure working with me at a tough time in my life. Working with clients that have a limited budget and ADD are hard enough but overwhelmed with life and at a crossroads is a whole new level of client. Amber was professional and patient yet keeps me accountable and people like me need that. She tirelessly sent out press releases and continues to find ways to allow the helpline to reach a larger audience. If you need a PR person seek out Amber.
👏 My friends, family, staff and all of you are the last to thank. You support my crazy ideas, help me implement them and hug me when the process gets to be too much at times. I have this posse of people who believe in me and help me grow personally and professionally. Everyone deserves that in life and I am grateful I have all of you! Checkout my story to see the message I woke up to!
👏 The Hale Life was the first local business to say “Hey we will sponsor the cost for the helpline for the opening month! Melissa the owner is a fun innovator making her own mark on this world with her bone broth. She didn’t hesitate to offer her support and I’m so grateful! Visit her online at https://halebonebroth.com/

Things don’t always go according to plan.

You fall behind. Someone gets sick. A social media post performs poorly. You get ghosted by an influencer. Your brand is facing a crisis…the list goes on and on.

Even when it doesn’t feel okay, guess what? Life happens and you have to adjust accordingly. Here are a few tactics you can start using today to reset ⬇️

🌱Reframe your mindset.
Take a step back and reflect. Use this as an opportunity to learn and move forward. Feel your frustration, then let it go.

🌱Go back to the basics.
Keep it simple and return to what’s worked in the past. If you tried to do your own video and you kept getting flustered, what can you do to simplify your filming process? Write down your steps, review your script or talking points…whatever it takes.

🌱Get outside perspective.
Sometimes we get in our own way and having an objective (or semi-objective) insight can help. For most people, contingency planning is most common after things go awry. It helps to have another person support that process.

🌱Try. And then try again.
Resiliency is key with any business or organization. Yours is no different. If you’re going through hell, keep going. You’ll never know what you’re capable of if you stop now.

If you’re feeling frustrated by what you’ve been doing to reach your target market or are going through some tough situations, reach out to us. We can either help or point you in the right direction.

We asked folks what their goals were for the week and this was one of our more interesting responses 🤣

Here’s what to do if you’re an entrepreneur who is feeling overwhelmed by your marketing, PR, content…or being a leader in general ⬇️

✅ Prioritize Tasks: Identify the most impactful marketing activities. Focus on strategies with a higher ROI like social media engagement, content creation, networking, or reconnecting with past customers. Trying to do everything at once is a recipe for resentment.

✅ Automate Where Possible: Use tools to automate repetitive tasks like email marketing, press release drafting, social media posting, and customer follow-ups. This can save time and reduce the mental load.

✅ Outsource When Necessary: Consider outsourcing tasks that are time-consuming or outside your expertise, such as graphic design, content writing, video editing, or PR. This allows you to focus on core business activities.

✅ Establish a Routine: Dedicate specific times each week to marketing activities. Having a routine can help you manage your time more effectively and reduce that “AHHHHH how do I do this???” mindset.

✅ Set Clear Expectations: Take a few minutes before diving into a task to outline the steps you need to take. This makes it easier to create standard operating procedures, delegate, create boundaries, and have clearer ways to reach your goals.

There are a TON more ways to level up your marketing, PR efforts, and brand without losing your cool. All it takes is some guidance and systems.

All this sound like you? Book a call and let’s dive in. Your employees and clients (and your own brain!) will thank you.

Tough markets, tough politics, tough schedules, tough situations…

So how can you AND your brand handle it?

✅Reflect
Take a step back and put on your thinking hat.
- What external factors are impacting you and your brand?
- What’s been working with how you market your business?
- What have your biggest challenges and road blocks been lately?
- What are some recent wins you can build off of?

✅Plan
Take your reflections and use your business data to dictate how you move forward. A good plan with solid, time bound goals is a good start.
- Do you need to level up your lead generation efforts?
- Create content with a stronger purpose behind it?
- Identify ways to build your reputation and stand out from competitors?

✅Pivot
Take your plan and break it down into smaller steps you can take each day. Read up on our Amelia Bedelia blog post for ideas on how to do this!

✅Assess
Decide during your planning process how you’ll measure if you’re hitting your goals.
- Are you seeing more qualified leads coming in since you switched up your messaging?
- Have you gotten new referrals because of your increased outreach efforts?
- Did being a podcast guest mean that more people are following you online?

🌱Life can throw a lot your way. It’s about taking stock of what you CAN control that matters most.

Having someone in your corner who can offer insights and objectively give feedback can be wicked helpful.

If that sounds like you, get in touch and book a call ⬇️
