Email management taking up too much of your time? Try this 3 step guide to take back control of your inbox! ↴⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1) CATEGORIES - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Skim read through each email and categorise them based on urgency. I use urgent for emails that require a response today and non-urgent for emails to reply to within a week.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) DIARY - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Allocate yourself an hour or two daily to spend replying to your urgent emails. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then allocate yourself another hour or two once a week to spend replying to the non-urgent emails.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) CALENDAR -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Use your calendar to track emails that need a follow-up and any miscellaneous emails that you need to respond to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You could use templates or auto-responses, but this will make you seem cold and like a robot behind the screen. Having said that, I would fully recommend an auto-response that lays out the average response time *unless you are VERY on top of your inbox - like I am ;) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

- I'm most definitely a cat person, and I'm sure my babies will make their debut soon. I also volunteer at a cat rescue in my area! 😸⠀⠀
