You may keep trying to “do more” whenever things aren’t clicking.

You will put in more effort... more hours and even more strategy.

You'll convince yourself that maybe if you just push harder, it’ll all fall into place.

No amount of drive can fix what’s not aligned and a system that doesn't work.

Yes, I know that the idea of stopping usually feels like failure...and you never like to fail.

But then I’ve seen how forcing things drains energy.

It kills your creativity, and makes you resent the very thing you once loved.

You must have heard that you must persist...

But you also need to learn that there's time to surrender and realign what's not well aligned, before pushing your forces forward.

This holds true for business, relationships and ALMOST everything I can think of.

The year was 1939...

An evil experiment and a study were carried out on two groups of orphaned children.

This study was called The Monster Study.

So, here's what happened.

Two groups of kids - One group with a stutter, Group A, and the second group of kids without any stutter, Group B - were placed separately.

Later on, six new kids who had no problem talking were brought in and placed in Group A - the stutter group.

..and every other day, all the kids in group A would be told, one after the other, including the six without a stutter...

"When you talk, you gotta be really careful... because it's hard for you to get the words out of your mouth.. You are a Stutterer."

..and then they would go to the non-stuttering kids in Group B and praise them.

"You are great speakers."

Here's the thing...

Out of the six kids in Group A without a stutter, five of them actually started to stutter and stammer heavily.

They could hardly speak due to their new bad speaking condition.

Remember, this study was done in 1939...

In 2003, The New York Times tracked down one of the five kids who started to stutter.

At that point, she was already old.

They called her phone and when she picked up...

Guess what?

She had a heavy, terrible stutter and could barely talk properly.

She later said that the experiment ruined her life until her old age.

What do you think happened?

See, the 5 kids were instilled with a wrong belief that they stutter...

That they couldn't talk easily and properly... and that stuck with them - even though they didn't originally have a stutter.

..and they developed this belief by associating in close proximity with stammerers and repeatedly being told that they were stammerers... till the point they subconsciously believed it.

Now, think about it.

This is how we develop most wrong system beliefs.

By accepting wrong beliefs as "true" in our subconscious minds...and believing in them.

Here's the thing - A Psychological Fact.

The more often you hear of something/ see something, the more you believe and trust it.

What do you continuously expose yourself to?

What do you allow yourself to be called or referred to as?

These are questions you have to ask yourself...

..and I hope you have the courage to truthfully answer them yourself.

You can have a high income skill and still be dead broke.

You can be so good in the skill you possess and yet, have absolutely nothing to show for it...

And why is that?

One may scream "You lack marketing skills"...

But then, I have met a broke Marketer too...

I mean, a marketer that is so good in his craft but yet, still broke...

..The type of marketer that hardly gets clients, but always deliver good results to the very few he gets.

So, it's not always because you lack marketing skills...

Then what is it?

Most of times, when you look deep within...

You find out you aren't making as much as you want...

Even though you have a hot selling high income skill, just because of...

Wrong Belief System & Wrong Mindset!

Always remember...

You need nobody's permission to start making the moves you always imagine yourself doing.

You need a clear game plan, grit, perseverance and a get-sh*t-done mentality!

Don't get lost in seeking approval.

Every negative thing that happens to you should always be one more reason to keep going.

I have always reminded myself never to pity myself or sit and wait to be pitied...

..and somehow, I seem to always overcome even the biggest obstacle that stands in my path.

I always remind myself that someone somewhere is having it rougher than I am and yet...

They pushing through, failing and getting back on their feet as fast as they can.

For that reason amongst a thousand others, I have no reason to throw in the towel.

Truthfully, no one has enough reason to give up.

First you write a banging copy you are crazy about.

A week later it is no longer "banging" to you.

Three weeks later, it looks sh*tty to you.

This is exactly how it is...

At least for me...

"Does this mean that the copy is really bad?"

Well, I don't decide that... The Market does.

And so far, the Market's response to the above question, has been "No".

But that's not the essence of this piece of content.

You see, something happens when you procrastinate things...

Your mind finds a way to further dissuade you, from actually continuing with whatever you procrastinate.

..and the more you delay doing things, the further you find reasons not to do them...

Or at least, reasons why it will fail.

And because you don't like to fail, your lose the enthusiasm and energy to follow through with what you've been procrastinating on.

Wait! I have started 3 sentences with "and".

Now, that's not good.

You see, they say "Write as you talk".

But I am currently writing as I think.

And that's because I am freestyling. More like Freestyle Writing.

Damn! I opened another sentence with "and".

It's really this bad.

Oh! I digressed.

Sorry, Intrusive thoughts.

But this is exactly how my brain works.

I always have to arrange my words, so that you get the message without getting confused.

Wait! What was I talking about before?

Right - Banging Copies, Procrastination and Discipline.

We are back on track.

Guess I didn't lose you...and you are still here?

Great! Let's continue.

So, you have a banging copy, you delayed putting it to use...

Setting it up in your funnel and directing traffic to it.

Then, later, the copy is not "so-good" to you anymore.

You dump it in your Google Docs and start all over again... Or maybe quit the whole thing.

You see, that's not how you win.

You prepped yourself up for a lose...

Just because you lacked Discipline.

Yeah, let's face it.

It takes a considerable amount of brain power & Discipline...

To sit you ass down.

And create a sales process...

That makes your fellow human decide to actually buy stuff.

I mean, drop their fears, doubts and sentiment... then pull out their cards, and rush to buy whatever you are selling.

But then, you don't have that kind of Discipline.

Here's what I am trying to say.

You can have the best winning strategy...

The hot, sought after skill...

and everything in between...

But, if you lack Discipline...

You'll most likely lose and not make the most out of what you have.

..and Discipline isn't what you can buy...

Rather, it is something you build...

Through constant practice, self control and awareness...

So, how do you get started on building your Discipline?

Here's a rather simple exercise I do daily.

It's stupidly simple that you might over-look it.

But it has helped me a great deal.

...and I am sure it will help you.

So, here is how to do it.

Dedicate 10 mins of your time everyday to just sitting down, without doing anything.

I mean, keep your phone aside, no movement, just sit still, keep your mouth shut, your head straight and stare.

Just stare... Blink and Breathe.

For 10 mins.

The thing is, this sounds super simple, until you try it out.

Now, 90% of people will not do it.

Don't be in the 90%.

Will you do it?

I hope you do.

If you read to this point, then I have one question for you.

It is a very Important question

"Why are you still here?"

I mean, I don't mean you should leave...

But why are you still reading this?

I didn't make a crazy promise to share a "Super Money Generating Secret" with you or something.

I am not obeying the laws of writing and all of that.

Yet somehow, you are still here.

So, are you really here because you want to be?

Or are you here because I am doing something to keep you?

You see...

Psychology is a very wonderful thing when it comes to Marketing, Copywriting & Sales.

It is a game changer!

Do you doubt it?

You see, if you are still here, even though this has gotten quite long...

Then it means that I didn't want you to leave...and I am currently employing some psychological "things" to keep you here.

So, if I wanted...

I could turn this into a sales message, gearing it towards showing you the Wonderful benefits of Psychology in Marketing & Copywriting, then offering you a product on psychology and ending with a call to action....

All because I still have your attention.

I am still freestyling, so I don't know how to end this now.

Oh! I remember.
