At Eco Lites we pride ourselves in creating an exceptional product. Unlike any other firelighter out there our Eco lite firelighters are handmade. Each block takes between 10 to 12 minutes to complete. As we make use of recycled newspaper in our manufacturing process every block has a unique feel and look, but the shape is pretty much the same. This is the only firelighter that has a flint. which makes it easier for you to light your fire. our blocks are constantly tested, at least one out of every batch gets dunked in water to ensure it is waterproof, then they go to the braai. Our family bucket contains 20 blocks in each bucket. as for our packaging we have gone through 6 different options in the last four years going from handmade paper buckets, recycled cardboard boxes, small plastic containers and various more tests that never saw the light of day. After four years we decided to go with the big plastic containers. the plastic containers are re usable. so once you have finished using your eco lites you can wash out the bucket and use it for something else. our packaging is probably the most expensive out there, Since we only want the best for our product. At store level you will pay more, but you will at the end of the day have more days of braai than any other box of firelighters. the standard box of fire lighters contain between 4 and 12 blocks, whilst our Eco lites contain 20 blocks. So when you purchase one of our containers of Eco lites you purchase our heart and soul.
