The Union Pacific Railroad X4014 Steam Locomotive spent the night n Cedar Rapids, Iowa on September 5, 2024..
JTRPS TV was able to capture the departure of this awesome locomotive as it pulled out of Cedar Rapids Friday morning September 6, 2024..
We have some additional footage hours before the departure showing the crews preparing Big Boy for the days trip. We will edit that footage and post it as soon as we can..

are now Scheduled for.
August 17th, 2024.
Gates Open at 9 AM
Registration 10 AM – 12 PM
Practice at 12:30 PM.
And YES, JTRPS TV will be going LIVE that afternoon. The start time for the LIVE Broadcast is still TBD..
We will be doing some of our ‘Around the Pits’ Interviews and will air those with the Highlight Video of the racing action..

Leaving for Race #3 of the Mid-Central Showdown Series Hosted by Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake Wisconsin. .
Radar indicates that I get to drive through rain the entire trip. .
There is NO DIRECT route from Cedar Rapids to Rice Lake. So two lane s**t roads it is.......one shows flooding may cause delays....
