A website project is like building a house 🏡
You wouldn’t pour a foundation without a plan, select finishes randomly, or start construction without blueprints. Websites are the same:

1️⃣ Strategy
2️⃣ Branding
3️⃣ Copywriting
4️⃣ Gathering assets
5️⃣ Site design

Only after all of the above is complete and approved can the actual building begin.

Most visitors decide whether to stay or leave your website in just a few seconds.
And they’re basing that decision on three areas: your header, hero section, and your main call-to-action.

If those elements aren’t clear, your bounce rate will show it.

A beautiful website won’t convert if your visitors aren’t sure what they’re supposed to do next.

Your CTA should be:
✔ clear
✔ action-oriented
✔ easy to find
✔ repeated throughout your site

Think “Schedule a Consultation,” “Donate,” or “Book Your First Class”—not vague buttons like “Learn More.”

If your CTAs feel unclear or inconsistent, that’s an easy fix with a big payoff.

Most website projects start the same way…
Pick a theme → tweak the colors → swap out photos → say to yourself, “this is looking good!”

And then comes the part that stops everything:
“Okay… now we need to write the words. Ughhh!"

That’s usually when timelines stretch, decisions get harder, and what felt simple starts to feel a little… messy.

Over the years, I’ve seen this happen again and again — which is exactly why I’m such a big believer in content-first design.

When you start with the words, everything else gets easier:

Pages make more sense
Design decisions feel clearer
The whole process runs smoother
