This week was a tough week for me. It was hard to get up early, push through the days, and doubt creeped up.

It happens, especially when you're on a journey to find yourself and grow a business.

I'm being the most vulnerable to show people pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is really uncomfortable and at times you may doubt your strength to move forward, but you have to push through to see what's ahead.

So today, if you feel doubtful and uncomfortable about your journey just know these are signs of growth.

You're growing and it's time to embrace it.

"Love yourself first, so that others can learn how to love you too."

This was the best advice I received from my dad. I will never forget this advice he gave me many years ago, when I was just a young, naïve little girl who knew nothing about relationships and selflove.

Everyone around you have the expectation of you loving and caring for others, but no one talks about how impactful it is for you to selfishly love yourself first.

If you love yourself, others will love you the way you deserve to be loved.

If you love yourself, you will know what you deserve and won't settle for anything less.

If you love yourself, you will learn how to truly love others the way they want and deserve to be loved.

If you call this selfish, then yes, I'm selfish. ❤

Are you a business owner and would like to scale your business online? Here’s the exact strategy I used to start making sales through social media marketing, even when I'm sleeping.
1. Make sure you have a functional and customer friendly website.
2. Create a process to deliver your products or services.
3. Implement an organic marketing strategy.
4. If you have funds, create a paid marketing strategy. ex) Facebook ads.
5. Stay consistent and follow through.

$15k+ grants! This is a great opportunity for Asian restaurant owners! Apply now!

Applications are now open for the AAPISTRONG Restaurant Fund. With the industry facing ongoing economic challenges, this funding will allow AAPI restaurateurs to take their business to the next level through development ideas such as infrastructure improvements, e-commerce and technology, employee benefits, and operations streamlining. Ultimately, this will help AAPI entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, secure their futures, and also give back to the life of their neighborhoods by fostering safe and enjoyable places to gather. There will be $15K grants available for AAPI-owned restaurants, along with a grand prize for 3 applicants.

Eligibility requirements include:
- The restaurant must be Asian American/Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian majority-owned (at least 51%);
- Must be based in the United States;
- Must be currently operational;
- Must be a for-profit business;
- Must show proof of their primary licensed activity as “the preparation and serving of food”;
- Operates in a single location;
- Cannot be a franchise;
- Must demonstrate financial need;
- Funds must be used towards growth and expansion of the business;
- Must demonstrate community impact (i.e. culture/community, hiring, charitable/philanthropic efforts, etc.)
- For grand prize finalists, you must be able to attend our Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV on October 12-13. (Flight vouchers and hotel accommodations will be provided via National ACE)

Always continue to learn and educate yourself. I am not a financial advisor or tax advisor but I learned something new today on this webinar.
Did you know you're income is taxed at the lower bracket and once you surpass the bracket the excess amount is taxed at a higher rate? To reduce tax payments, think about using the excess amount and put it in a tax free or lower tax payment account.
