While reading one of Oyedepo's books he said "your gratitude will determine your altitude". The more grateful you are the higher you will be able to ascend.

To gain access to the next level, you must have appreciated the fact that you are at this level. The scriptures say, "in all things, give thanks".

In any situation you find yourself in, know that it's for a reason and look into the positive side to progress.

Living a life of gratitude gives an open door to so many opportunities. It gives room for you to receive more and also takes you close to where you are meant to be.

This month, develop an ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE!

UNSINKABLE [PART 1]

The ordeals have been tough
My interior & exterior, hard and rough
Life, its troubles and I'm caught in a playoff
Am I going to win?
Will I emancipate in victory?

My mind, suddenly a battlefield
Its pavements laced with fear,
I find myself drenched deep into the ocean
It's hard to breathe
Am I gonna accept defeat?
What's the point of all these awful feats?

Let's get to a common ground now.
We've all been in one suffocating situation or the other. The situation launches us so deep that it's hard to come up to the surface.
Here's the thing, you're drowning in an ocean of trials because you chose to drown
You're being defeated because you want to be
Your negativity exists because of you
You're in a losing battle because of your weak will

I've got the answer to your plight

perfect time for something.
They have been waiting for when all will be set,
It is so unfortunate that perfect time is an illusion.

Perfection comes from taking action,
Doing things repeatedly.
Where you are NOW!
It is the perfect place to START
What you have NOW!
It is what you NEED to start with.
Start DOING the little things you can do
excellently with the resources that you have.

Then time will provide the opportunity
to be better.

THE VALUE IDENTITY PART 1!

You have to be value driven because you have a nature of value.

Value is an Identity, and you have it.

Let me tell you a short story:

One of the greatest Icon in the scriptures was a man called Abraham. He is simply the friend of God and walked in the identity of God on Earth.

Walking in this identity came with promises: God said, “He will make him a great Nation,... bless him, and make him a blessing:..., and in him shall ALL the family of the Earth be blessed” Genesis 12v2-3.

So, God promised to give him sons and daughters at a time that he was physically barren, and God painted two pictures to him. (Genesis 12 - 20 represents Abraham Transgenerational life, go feast on it!)

God said:

1. Your seeds shall be plenty like the sands of the sea.

2. Your seeds shall be plenty like the stars in the sky.

You know what Abraham chose? He chose the second option and believed.

“And He brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now towards heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be. And he believed God, and He counted it to him for righteousness.”- Genesis 15v5-6 (KJV)

FIRED UP!

Simple analogy:

A freshly laid egg from a hen is warm, then cold.

In this ground state or comfort, the egg can be battered, broken, smeared or wasted.
The egg is weak and vulnerable!

Lesson:
Every comfort zone is cool but makes you weak and vulnerable! It's a bad place to be forever.

This same egg, put inside water and fired up, will gain heat; change from liquid to solid, and become stronger. It can't just be smeared or broken,
It has to be peeled! Instead of vulnerability, it becomes viable - and more valuable!

Lesson:
Some exposure to heat or adversity will build and refine your capacity. Its sometimes the only path because pain must come before gain - a story for your glory.

All you face in life is meant to make you a face in life.

You won't sink with the wind, you will come out strong and soaring - like the Eagles.

Till you go through, stay strong;

For

Adversity builds and refines your Talent. Be consciously FIRED UP!

VALUE EXCHANGE: Look Beyond Obstacles! [PART 2]

Hunger/Desire is normal in the quest to get value but the main determinant is Humility.

Every man of value isn't perfect even though they seem to have perfect gifts... And that's why Humility comes in.

Attimes, you will have to look beyond their sarcasm, whinings, anger, to squeeze out their values from them.

Your attention to what they want to offer must pull you close more than their attitude which can be repellant attimes.

You must attimes look beyond, and build attitude that will make you climb the altitude you desire.

PS: This is not a cynical view that mentors have bad attitudes towards their mentees, it's just a focus writ to ensure mentees look beyond seeming obstacles!

KEEP YOUR PURSUIT!

Have you watched a marathon race in an Olympics before?

Definitely, you must have seen one. The stadium. The tracks. The sprinters. The crowd.

Every person competing on their tracks came for one thing - to win Medals!

Along the line; the race starts, the crowds cheers, some sprinter's slack, some stressed, some fall, few get to the finish line, and win medals.

In that race, every sprinter will be exhausted at one point or the other; but why some give up, few press on and forward to win.

Winning the race is Beyond motivation because the crowd's cheers are always on; the determinant is Commitment.

Like the race filled with stress, exhaustion and pain; so is Life. Life can be discouraging beyond motivation that it will take a disciplined Commitment to get to your throne and wear your crown.

This year 2020 has been globally interesting; discouraging atleast but with or without motivation, you must move forward with deep Commitment. Keep the struggle like Aluta Continua, and in hope expect results like Victoria asserta.

This year may seem gone, but you still have a decade of relevance before you. Don't lose it - be Committed!

I will conclude with the Biblical Warlord, Gideon who in the midst of war was exhausted: "... He was faint, yet pursuing them" - Judges 8v4(KJV)

Keep the pursuit. Don't lose sight of your goals. When the gain comes, You'do realize the pain isn't in vain.

Discipline can conquer any Discouragement because Commitment is the Master of Motivation.

As you keep pursuit and move the extra-mile, accept my cheers to greatness.
