After 38 incredible years at Weldon, Williams & Lick, Karl LaBorn’s retirement deserved a celebration to remember, bagpipes included.🎶

Today, we gathered to celebrate Karl and the lasting impact he has made on WW&L since joining the company in 1988. His knowledge, leadership and willingness to find solutions have helped carry WW&L through decades of change and innovation.

To make the occasion even more special, a bagpipe player joined us in honor of Karl’s retirement, giving us a memorable sendoff for an equally memorable career.

As Karl reflected on his time at WW&L, he said it best: “I’ve loved my time here, as much as anybody could!”

Karl, thank you for 38 years of dedication, leadership and friendship. We’re grateful for everything you’ve contributed to WW&L and wish you all the best in this next chapter.

Razorback fans, here’s one you’ll want to see. 🐗⚾

Former Arkansas pitcher Gage Wood took the mound during the 2026 Futures Game in Philadelphia as a member of the Phillies organization and there’s a Direct Souvenir ticket to commemorate the occasion.

Now pitching for the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils, Gage continues to give Arkansas baseball fans plenty to follow.
