2024 is all about taking GORG photos without overcomplicating, overspending, or overworking! 💪

I’m only a little late 😅😅

It’s only January 3, which means I can totally still post my wrap-up of 2023, right!?

To be honest, even if no one sees this, reflecting on my personal wins, goals met, and experiences is an important part of slowing down and taking time to appreciate how far I’ve come and the relationships I have formed.

I’m so grateful for each of you that were part of my story in 2023. ❤️

Looking forward to all that 2024 will bring! Can’t wait to share all the exciting adventures that are ahead. 🙌🏻

What is the most underrated photo prop!??

Anything made of felt or foam…

WHY??- because felt and foam aren’t reflective so they look gorgeous in your resource photos. 😍

These inexpensive felt sets are (by far) my favorite props to use for holiday-themed images.

They come with tons of variety of make it easy to add some festive spirit to photos of any resource.

You DON’T need $1000’s 💸 to take product photos.

AFFORDABILITY and ACCESSIBILITY are key components of how I perform product photography and…

(Even more importantly) how I teach you to do product photography.

Because, let’s face it, as a teacher biz owner the last thing you need is:

❌to shell out thousands for an expensive camera and equipment
❌to learn complicated software and processes that you won’t ever want to actually do

So here’s what I do when taking my own photos or teaching you how to:

1️⃣ I use my iPhone to take all of my photos for clients and I teach my students how to customize settings on your cell phone in order to achieve high quality photos with the phone from your pocket.

2️⃣ I use and teach how to use Adobe Lightroom to edit all my photos, but I also teach my students how to use Snapseed, in case you are looking for a totally FREE option to get similar results.

3️⃣ I love shopping at the Dollar Tree, the Target Dollar spot, and finding props right from my own house to use in photos. I show my students some of my favorite props and where to buy them.

4️⃣ I teach you how to build your own lightbox out of $1 foam board that is going to be so much larger and more flexible than an expensive pre-made lightbox.

When I first started my business I didn’t have a lot of extra 💵 to invest in my business. So I learned how to do it using affordable materials and what I had in my own house.

So, if you’ve been stressing over product photography- thinking that it’s going to take $100’s or even $1000’s to get started, let me show you my ways! 😉
