Everyone wants to “scale with Facebook Ads”
 but here’s the truth: ads don’t fix broken funnels.

Before I switch on a single campaign, I’m looking for a few key things. Think of this as my go/no-go checklist👇

1. The offer is clear (and sellable)
If you can’t explain what you’re offering in one sentence and who it’s for, you’re not ready. Vague = wasted budget.

2. The funnel flow makes sense
Lead magnet → nurture → offer → follow-up. No dead ends. No “wait, what now?” moments. Just a smooth journey that makes it easy to say yes.

3. Your landing pages load fast and don’t look like 2010
People click, scroll and bounce in seconds. If your page is clunky or confusing, your ad spend will evaporate faster than your patience.

4. You’ve sold this offer organically
I’m not saying you need thousands in revenue. But if strangers have already said yes, without ads, it tells me the offer has legs. Ads are fuel, not magic.

5. You know what happens after someone opts in
What emails do they get? How are you following up? If there’s no plan, leads will slip through the cracks and you’ll blame the ads (when it’s really the backend).

6. You’re actually ready to handle leads or sales
Is your calendar open? Are your DMs being checked? Will people hear back if they apply? If not, we pause.

Bottom line: I won’t run ads that don’t have a real chance of converting. I care about your results too much for that đŸ€

📌 Make sure to save this for later

You’ve spent ages crafting out the perfect Facebook Ad and then BOOM - big rejected message! It’s frustrating and can be time-consuming if you’re not sure where you went wrong.

Here are some of the main reasons why ads get rejected and how to avoid it...

[1] Don’t be too specific to an individual
Although you can target specific types of audiences with your ad, try not suggest tha you are. For example, you could be promoting a nutrition program that helps people manage their weight, but you can’t create an ad that suggests the target user is overweight.

[2] No before and after shots
Don't show images of ‘ideal’ weight, also no unnecessary skin please!

[3] Check links and landing pages WORK
If your links are taking someone to a landing page or website that comes up with error messages or your downloads don’t actually download, this is classed as misleading information as it doesn’t follow through on what was promised in the ad.

[4] Don’t use Facebook assets
Be wary of using screenshot material of the Facebook experience or having the logo anywhere in the ad.

[5] Is what you’re talking about true?
Again - this links back to your copy and the words you are using. If you are making unrealistic claims or promising outlandish results, Facebook won’t allow it. If you’re unsure about your claim - try to avoid promising specific results in a specific timeframe.

First off: there’s no such thing as a “seasoned pixel”. Your Meta pixel doesn’t need to “warm up” like it’s stretching before a jog 😂 and it’s definitely not the reason your ads aren’t converting.

This idea is a leftover myth from the early days of ads, pushed by people who don’t fully understand how Meta’s algorithm actually works - or worse, use it as an excuse when things underperform.

💡 Here’s what does matter:
The data your pixel collects (events, quality traffic, proper tracking)
The volume of that data for optimisation (especially for conversion campaigns)
Your campaign structure - objectives, creatives, audiences, placements, etc.
Meta’s machine learning, which is incredibly clever and adapts fast when it has the right signals.

So if someone tells you your pixel just needs time to “season,” what they’re really saying is:
“I’m not sure why this isn’t working.”
“I’m hoping time will fix it.”
“Please don’t fire me yet.”

✹ Truth: A properly set-up pixel with the right events and ads that resonate with their target audience can be effective from Day 1.

Stop letting bad advice burn through your budget. You don’t need seasoning, you need strategy.
