This one was such a special piece to create 💛

A huge thank you to Megan for trusting me with something so meaningful. This memory bear was made for her friend, who has sadly lost her beloved Dad.

We included a treasured photo of them together, added his favourite saying, and kept the original collar and buttons from his shirt to make it feel even closer to him.

These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do…turning love, memories, and little pieces of someone special into something to hold onto forever 🧸✨

Two beautiful memory dogs made from a very special piece… 🐾🤍

These two were created from a sadly missed Buddie’s dog bed, keeping a little piece of him close in the most comforting way. My customer asked for their tongues to be sticking out just like Buddie used to do 🥹 and I think that little detail brings so much of his personality back to life.

It’s always such an honour to turn something so full of love into keepsakes that can be held onto forever.

I’ve been so busy recently that I’ve had zero time to post! 😅

So here are some pictures of some lovely bears I’ve made over the last few weeks 🧸✨ Huge thank you to Fiona, Jade and Kris for ordering these. I absolutely loved making them for you!

Please note: I am so incredibly happy and grateful to be fully booked at the minute! 🥹❤️
However this does mean that most of my time is currently spent working on orders, so I know I haven’t been able to respond to messages as quickly as I usually like to. Please bear with me, I’m only one person (I wish I was an octopus 🐙😂).

The good news is that when I move into the shop I’ll be looking for someone to help me. Hopefully this will make ordering, replies and deliveries much faster going forward ❤️

✨ A little introduction for all the lovely new faces here ✨

Hi everyone! I have noticed lots of new followers recently so I thought it would be the perfect time to introduce myself. My name is Emily and I am the face behind Personalised by Emily. I have been running my little business for 5 years now and what started as a small idea has grown into something so incredibly special to me.

A huge part of what I do is creating keepsakes for people who have sadly lost loved ones. This part of my business is very personal to my heart. I lost my dad when I was just 21 and at the time I could not afford the jewellery and memory bears that people often buy to remember someone special. So I thought I will make my own. And the rest as they say is history. 🤍

Once I realised I had found my calling I worked so hard to grow my little business, learning new skills, investing in machines and slowly expanding into other things like printing and embroidery. It has been a journey full of late nights, creativity and lots of love poured into every order.

I also live with a chronic health condition called PCOS which affects me every single day. Some days are harder than others but one of the biggest blessings of being self employed is that when I am not feeling my best I can still sit in my comfy chair with a hot water bottle and continue doing the work I love. That simply would not have been possible in a traditional job.

I am so incredibly grateful for my loyal and supportive customers who have stuck with me and supported my business along the way. You truly mean the world to me.

And finally some very exciting news. We will soon be moving premises! 🎉
After running my business from home I will soon be opening my very first shop in the beautiful Victorian Arcade in Dewsbury. It feels like such a huge milestone and I cannot wait to share this next chapter with you all.
