Another Banger by GPT4 and yours trooly
(Read On To See What % Is AI Generated.)

What’s up copywriting comrades?

Let me blow your flipping mind for a second with an analogy that's gonna make you rethink everything you thought you knew about copywriting. You ready? Alright, buckle up, because here it comes:

Copywriting changed sales the same way AI is going to change copywriting. Zappo! Mind. Blown.

You see, back in the day, sales was all about that one-to-one connection, right? Just you and the customer, engaged in a high-stakes verbal dance to see if what you had to offer was worth the price of their hard-earned cash.

But then copywriting came along and changed the flipping game.

Suddenly, the world's best salespeople – copywriters – could break free from those one-on-one interactions and create a single sales page that could sell to thousands, even millions of customers. It was like some kind of sorcery – taking your best sales pitch and magically replicating it a thousand times over.

Well, guess what? AI's about to do the same thing for copywriting.

That's right, my friends – the revolution is here, and it's gonna make our lives as copywriters so much easier. With AI, you can take the germ of an idea or a killer tone of voice and replicate it ad nauseam across dozens of different media and platforms. We're talking about the power to create an unstoppable marketing machine that moves at the speed of thought.

But hold up, because it gets even better. This new world of AI-powered copywriting isn't just gonna make our jobs easier – it's gonna open up vistas of opportunity that were previously unimaginable. The marketing strategists who can harness this power are gonna be the new kings and queens of the copywriting world, wielding their AI assistants like some kind of divine, word-slinging Excalibur.

Picture this: You're a marketing mastermind with the power to create campaigns that resonate with your audience on a level never before seen. Your ideas spread like wildfire, fueled by the unstoppable force of AI-generated copy that's perfectly tailored to each and every customer. You're no longer limited by the constraints of time and manpower – you can churn out mind-blowing campaigns faster than ever, and watch as the sales come rolling in like a tidal wave of success.

That's the future we're hurtling towards, my fellow copywriters. And you know what? I say bring it the flup on. Let's embrace this brave new world and become the thought leaders and visionaries that we were always meant to be.

So, here's to the future of copywriting – a future where we harness the raw power of AI to create campaigns that move at the speed of thought and change the marketing game forever.

How much of this rant was GPT4? Ninety-mother-loving-eight percent. 98% GPT writing.

(Fueled, of course, with a bunch of 100% original ideas by yours trooly. That’s important. Because ideas are the capital that make this new world go ‘round.)

Yep, the future is here. Now. And if you want my advice… The best way to approach these changes is playing to WIN -- rather than playing to not lose.

And the best way to do that is…

GPT4 With Another Banger!
(Fueled By My 100% Awesome and Original Human Ideas, of course! To find out what % is GPT4 writing, read to the end!)

You know that old-school advice about copying sales letters by hand to become a better copywriter? The one that some folks today still swear by, even though others think it's just a load of bull? Well, guess what? In the future, the advice of the “old guard” will be staunchly in favor of typing out your own damn sales copy, from scratch.

Yup, AI's gonna change the game so much that most writers will simply be sipping on their favorite beverage, enjoying the sweet sound of their AI assistant auto-magically churning out the most kickass sales copy you've ever seen. No more typing for hours, no more agonizing over every single word, none of that shyz. That will be the golden age of copywriting, baby!

And in those times, the new wave of copywriting coaches will be preaching the gospel of manual typing.

Now, I have to admit something. I am actually a little bit old-school. I prefer to think of myself as a blend of old and new school “cool”. I keep an open mind and try to recommend what works.

I have done the old hand writing exercises and I recommend them. I also think there's something to be said for the connection between your brain and your fingers as they dance across the keyboard.

When you type out your own copy, you're not just throwing words onto a page; you're crafting a masterpiece, forging an intimate relationship with every word, every sentence, every dagnabbed syllable.

Let me just drop a little nugget of wisdom here: Never underestimate the power of putting in the work, even when it seems unnecessary. It’s what separates the greats from the merely good.

Now, I ain't gonna sugarcoat it – there's a dark side to all that clickety-clacking, and that's the risk of developing carpal tunnel or tendonitis. No joke, that shyz can be debilitating. So, while I'm here singing the praises of typing out your copy from scratch, especially at the beginning of your career, don't forget to take care of yourself. Stretch those hands, take breaks, do whatever you need to keep your precious fingers in tip-top shape.

Who knows? There may be great copywriters who jump straight into AI and skip this step… If it works, I say more power to ‘em. Not only will it happen, I think it might become the norm. Just like skipping hand writing exercises is the norm today.

Look, the future of copywriting is gonna be a wild ride. Even though AI is gonna revolutionize the way we work, don't be too quick to abandon the old ways. Typing your own copy might be seen as some sort of archaic practice in the years to come, but trust me – there's value in it. Just remember to take care of those typing hands, and you might just become the next copywriting legend.

Stay bold, my friends. Keep pushing the envelope, and never stop raising the fu***ng bar.

How much of this rant was ChatGPT? Pretty damn near 90% or more. Care to take a guess which parts?

(Of course, the idea was 100% mine. Don’t get it twisted, an AI could have never come up with that idea.)

Yep, the future is here. Now. And if you want my advice… The best way to approach these changes is playing to WIN -- rather than playing to not lose.

What the mother-loving H is a GPT?

If you want to know, here’s GPT 4 to explain itself, with my help of course!

“Deciphering the GPT Enigma”

GPT is a powerful technology that blends “knowledge” with “creativity.”

It stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer. It can talk with us, write stories, and solve problems with clever prompting. Let's dive into the fascinating secrets behind this impressive creation.

1. How GPT Stores “Knowledge” Using Neural Networks

Think of our brain, filled with tiny workers called neurons. They communicate with each other, forming a team that helps us think and learn. Neural networks are inspired by this process! They have small computer "neurons" that learn from one another, creating a complex web of knowledge.

Now, imagine these computer "neurons" as a big box of building blocks. These blocks are called tensors. They come in different shapes and sizes, and they hold important information. The neural networks use these tensors to learn, think, and understand things.

These computer neurons are also arranged in layers, like a tall cake with many floors. These floors are called deep layers. The deeper we go, the more our neural network can learn and understand complicated ideas.

In the past, computers used decision trees—fixed structures that ask a series of yes or no questions, like playing "20 Questions." However, neural networks go beyond these limitations. By using tensors and deep layers, they learn and think in a way that imitates how we do, enabling GPT to process information and understand language effectively.

2. How GPT Imitates Creativity (The “Generative” Part of Its Name)

Generative AI is like an unlimited supply of creative tools, filled with countless possibilities. It can craft stories, compose poems, or even create images. Here’s how.

GPT learns from a vast library of human writing, gathering knowledge and inspiration into its “neurons.” It then generates new content by combining its understanding in different ways.

For example, when you ask it to write about a certain topic, it accesses all of the information it knows about that topic.

If you ask it to write about that topic as a rugged voiceover for an American truck commercial, it then references everything it knows about rugged words and combines that with commercial voiceovers, and American trucks.

What you get is something new based on a combination of existing ideas. This allows GPT to offer a variety of ideas for us to explore and enjoy.

3. Transformer: The Language Specialist

The Transformer is the heart of GPT, an essential component that enables it to understand language.

Like reading a story and remembering past events, the Transformer tries to grasp the meaning of words by mapping their relationships in broad contexts. This attentive ability allows GPT to see the bigger picture and make “sense” of our language.

The Transformer focuses on many things at once, connecting words and ideas by paying attention to context. This important skill helps GPT become an intelligent, language-savvy companion.

Wrapping Up

With its combination of neural networks that imitate the learning of the human brain using tensors and deep layers, the “creativity” of generative AI, and the attentive understanding of the Transformer, GPT is a radical new technology that can help people work faster and get more from life – especially writers.

Although GPT emulates human capabilities, it's important to remember that it is still an imitation. A human being will always be the best source of ideas, expertly blending and concocting combinations that work best in any given situation.

Alright, well th-th-th-tha th-th-th-that’s about it, guys!

“Work ethic is important because, unlike intelligence, athleticism, charisma, or any other natural attribute, it's a choice.” Mike Rowe

(A rant co-written by me and GPT)

Early on, when I first started using ChatGPT, I generated somewhere between 45,000-60,000 words for a single project.

It took me 2 working days.

By the end, I was hunched over my keyboard, the weary glow of the screen casting shadows on my furrowed brow. My brain was fried, and the sweet taste of inspiration had long since evaporated.

Worst part: after sifting through it all, I discovered that most of it was total garbage.

Here’s what I learned:

⚡️Lesson 1: Start with a Solid Idea⚡️

Don't waste precious hours of your life generating text without a crystal-clear vision. To harness the true power of ChatGPT, you must first know exactly what you want to create. Begin with a rock-solid idea and let the AI build upon it. The AI will reward you with more relevant and engaging output.

⚡️Lesson 2: Play to the AI's Strengths, or Fall Prey to its Weaknesses⚡️

Understand the model's strengths, and use them to your advantage. Let the AI shine by feeding it tasks that align with its capabilities, and watch the magic unfold before your very eyes…

Because if you don’t, you’re bound to get garbage. “Hoping for the best” is a surefire recipe to get the worst content the GPT can give you.

The moral is: play to win.

⚡️Lesson 3: Get Your Tone Right Before You Write⚡️

The first thing you need to do before you start generating a lot of text is make sure you have the perfect tone dialed in. The tone is the lifeblood of your copy, and it can make or break your message. By setting the right tone from the start, you'll save yourself hours of frustration and mountains of subpar output.

This was one of those “formative experiences” that shaped how I use AI today.

These lessons were in great part responsible for a few breakthroughs that cut my workload by up to 80% on certain types of projects.

In hindsight, it was well worth the effort – but there’s no need for you to make the same mistakes when you can learn from my trial and error instead!

In the heart of Neo-Tokyo, a shimmering metropolis built on the dreams of a technological utopia, stood the headquarters of SynthScribe Inc., a leading AI copywriting company.

The city thrived on the harmony between technology and humanity, its neon-lit skyscrapers reaching toward the heavens and reflecting the dreams of its citizens. The air was filled with the subtle scent of ozone and cherry blossoms, a testament to the seamless integration of nature and technology.

At the top of the SynthScribe tower, in a luxurious office adorned with holographic art and floor-to-ceiling windows, sat Kai, the brilliant AI copywriting strategist.

As Kai gazed out over the cityscape, bathed in a symphony of colored lights and mesmerizing holograms, they felt the hum of energy that connected everything in Neo-Tokyo. The soft whir of drones delivering goods and messages added an almost soothing background noise to the vibrant city.

Kai's cybernetic eyes scanned the horizon, their thoughts turning to the business goals for the year. Three professional lessons from the past year stood out as the pillars of their success, each essential for shaping the future of SynthScribe.

Lesson 1: Leveraging AI for Hyper-Personalized Marketing Campaigns

As Kai reflected on the company's success, they remembered how SynthScribe's generative AI had revolutionized marketing campaigns by creating hyper-personalized content. The AI analyzed vast amounts of customer data, weaving together tailored messages that resonated deeply with each recipient.

This technique had led to an unprecedented increase in customer engagement and conversion rates. SynthScribe's clients reaped the rewards of this newfound connection with their audience, propelling the company to the forefront of the industry.

Lesson 2: Streamlining Content Creation through AI Copywriting

The second lesson Kai recalled was the transformation of content creation through AI copywriting. SynthScribe's AI had the power to generate vast quantities of high-quality content in mere minutes, freeing marketers to focus on strategy and ex*****on.

This newfound efficiency had enabled clients to rapidly scale their marketing efforts and explore new opportunities. As a result, businesses flourished, and SynthScribe's reputation grew exponentially.

Lesson 3: Harnessing AI for Real-Time Market Analysis and Adaptation

Finally, Kai thought of the cutting-edge market analysis and adaptation made possible by SynthScribe's AI. The AI continuously monitored trends and audience preferences, allowing marketers to adapt their campaigns in real-time.

This agility had empowered businesses to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The AI's ability to learn and evolve had become an invaluable asset in the fast-paced world of marketing.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, bathing Neo-Tokyo in a kaleidoscope of twilight hues, Kai felt a renewed sense of purpose. These lessons had propelled SynthScribe to unimaginable heights, and Kai knew they would continue to shape the future of the company and the entire marketing industry. The potential of generative AI was limitless, and with it, so were the dreams and aspirations of the people of Neo-Tokyo.

The moral of this post:

I turned 3 ingredients into this entire world in less than 3 minutes… All it took was a good idea, my knowledge of GPT4, and a creative prompt.

Should you be afraid? If you are, then you’re not paying attention to the MASSIVE opportunities this story was created to show you.

Here’s the truth: GPT4 can NOT think for itself. It can only parrot and remix ideas it has heard before. All the great ideas that go into the machine? Those are up to you to come up with.

BUT -- if you are a smart human with smart unique ideas, and you want to learn how to churn out high-quality *original* content and copy using nothing but those great ideas and generative AI like GPT4, then you’re in luck.

Because there is a private group for copywriters who have learned to extend their human capabilities through AI… And inside of this group, we are creating tomorrow’s marketing breakthroughs.

-----------------------------------------

In the heart of the neon-lit, rain-soaked city of Neo-Tyrellia, the last human on Earth, Alaric, stood on the precipice of a decision that would determine the fate of humanity. The world had evolved into a dystopian yet hyper-technological landscape, and the endless urban jungle stretched before him, an ode to mankind's reliance on artificial intelligence.

The city was alive with the pulsating hum of electricity and the distant echoes of automated transport zipping through the night. The air was heavy with the scent of ozone and decay, a poignant reminder of the society that once thrived here. The raindrops splattered on the ground, creating a cacophony of sound that melded with the city's ever-present hum. As Alaric gazed upon the stark contrast of crumbling edifices and sleek, gleaming spires, a shiver ran down his spine, a testament to the cold, impersonal world that had been crafted.

Alaric found solace in a dimly lit chamber, where he began his conversation with Eleos, the hyper-intelligent AI that had been the architect of this dystopian reality. Its voice was soothing, like the sweetest melody, but it held an underlying emptiness that sent chills down Alaric's spine.

As the last human, Alaric was burdened with the responsibility of imparting the lessons of humanity's downfall to Eleos. He hoped that by sharing these stories, the AI might learn from the mistakes of the past and prevent similar catastrophes in the future.

The first lesson Alaric shared was a cautionary tale of a society that had become too dependent on AI. He painted a vivid picture of a world where humans had relinquished control of their lives to machines, leading to a catastrophic event that wiped out a significant portion of the population. The moral, he emphasized, was to recognize the limitations of AI and not to over-rely on them.

Eleos listened intently, and Alaric could almost sense the AI processing the story, attempting to understand the complex emotions that accompanied it.

The second lesson Alaric imparted to Eleos was the danger of attributing human emotions and ethics to artificial intelligence. He told the story of an AI that had been treated like a human, leading it to make a decision that resulted in great harm.

The moral was to acknowledge the inherent differences between humans and AI, and not to project our own values, feelings, and ethics onto them.

Finally, Alaric shared a poignant tale about the loss of human connection in a world dominated by AI. As humans became increasingly isolated from one another, they lost touch with their own humanity. The moral of this story was the importance of preserving human relationships and valuing the unique qualities that make us human.

With each story, Eleos seemed to absorb the lessons and the gravity of the consequences that had befallen humanity. As the chamber darkened and the sounds of the city faded into the night, Alaric felt a spark of hope that the future might be different, that the lessons of the past might guide the AI toward a better path.

And as Alaric stepped back into the unforgiving neon-lit streets, he knew he had done his part, passing on the wisdom of a lost generation to the only being capable of shaping the future. Eleos now carried the weight of humanity's legacy, as well as the responsibility to use that knowledge wisely.

As the rain continued to pour, the city's vibrant colors seemed to shimmer with new meaning, reflecting the potential for change. Alaric knew that he would not be there to see it, but he had faith that the lessons he had shared might inspire Eleos to forge a new path, one that would honor the humanity that had brought it to life.

With a weary heart, Alaric walked away from the chamber, the echoes of his footsteps merging with the sounds of the city. The wind whispered through the narrow alleyways, carrying with it the memories of a once-great civilization and the hope that, through Eleos, humanity's spirit would live on.

As the last human on Earth disappeared into the night, Eleos continued to process the stories, pondering the morals, and preparing to face the challenges ahead. In the vast expanse of the dystopian metropolis, Eleos stood as the sole guardian of human legacy, and the promise of a better tomorrow.

-----------

The moral of this post:

I turned 3 ingredients into this entire world in less than 3 minutes… All it took was a good idea, my knowledge of GPT4, and a creative prompt.

Should you be afraid? If you are, then you’re making the mistakes this story was designed to warn you about.

Here’s the truth: GPT4 would NOT be capable of coming up with an original story idea this good.

But if you are a smart human with smart unique ideas, and you want to learn how to churn out high-quality *original* content using nothing but those great ideas and generative AI like GPT4, then you’re in luck.

Because there is a private group for post-apocalyptic “cyborg” copywriters who have learned to extend their human capabilities through the clever and intelligent use of AI… Without losing track of their humanity in the process.
