Marketing is no longer linear.

It used to be that you could run an ad, have someone click on the page, upsell into something small, read a few emails, and then buy something bigger.

That is NOT true anymore.

Today - someone might click an ad, and then forget you.

Then - they see you on IG, and start to follow.

Then, they see one of your emails come through and open and read it.

Then, see more ads for your low-ticket offer - you know that $27 thing.

They might see you on TikTok promoting that offer.

Then, see another ad a few days later and decide to buy.

Once they buy - they probably won't even look at the $27 thing.

But they will open more of your emails.

And watch that YouTube video you put out.

And then read a few more emails.

And sign up for your launch (maybe from an ad, maybe from an email, maybe from organic social).

Then, they will come to about half a session and forget about it.

A few days later, they will see your ads again.

Click - read, leave the page.

See another email. Click, read, and leave the page.

FINALLY - they will see a last-call ad, post, email... or something...

And decide to buy at the last minute.

Or book that sales call.

If you are playing the linear game - you will LOSE in today's economy.

If you are obsessed with attribution - you will LOSE in today's economy.

If you aren't building your brand in multiple places with multiple touchpoints, you will LOSE in today's economy.

Copywriting tips for 2025...

→Scannable content (especially on long form conversion copy) is critical. This is a design thing as much as it is a content thing.

→Authenticity > slick sales lingo - people are craving real solutions; show them how you offer that.

→ Relatability + pain - you still need to talk about how your offers solve problems (aka pain).

BUT, your personal brand and overall brand content strategy should pull out pieces of your life that make you relatable, so that buyers feel a connection.

This moves copy from feeling slimy and manipulative to helpful and service-based.

→Human touch vs. AI - you CAN use AI in your process, but because everyone will, your ability to write truly HUMAN copy - tell stories - share meaningful, emotional insights... will separate you.

There is NO replacement for being uniquely human.

Over the years, I've seen all kinds of models for copywriting...

→Pay for campaign specific copy for launches, websites, new offers as they come up (which usually costs in the 10's of thousands for someone GOOD)

→Hire an in-house copywriter (which costs a MINIMUM of $6k/month for a mid-level hire)

Both are good options - but they lack a few things:

Your business's copy needs change from month to month depending on your offers, launches, and season of business.

One-off projects are quite the investment of time in addition to all of the money you are spending. Those projects can take up to 8 weeks to get back.

Hiring in-house means training and coaching fall on YOU, which most CEOs don't have the bandwidth.

So - we are shaking things up and creating an option that gives you what you need when you need it without breaking the bank.

Our monthly content subscriptions basically give you access to our team of trained (by ME) copywriters in a flexible way, so you can get what you need, when you need it.
