A Statement from Klovvnie,
Underground Free Press
After careful consideration, I have decided to shut down the Underground Free Press platform.
I built and funded this entire project myself because I strongly believe people should not leave money on the table by only posting to a single social media platform. I wanted to create a truly independent space where voices could reach further without relying on big tech gatekeepers. However, I no longer want to be a contributing factor to the growing backlash against data centers and the heavy digital infrastructure demands that come with running an active online platform.
This decision aligns with how I truly want to live my life, free from unnecessary burdens, complications, and the constant pull of maintaining systems that ultimately feed into larger energy and environmental concerns I no longer wish to support.
As of right now, the Underground Free Press website is available for sale for $1,300. If someone wants to purchase and keep the platform running, I’m open to a smooth transfer. However, if no buyer steps forward, I will lock it down tighter than Fort Knox, preserving the archive but making it completely inaccessible to the public.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project along the way. This chapter is closing so I can move forward with greater peace and freedom.
