I LOVE a new year! 💗

Something about it makes you feel like you can just leave everything that happened before it in the past and start over.

It's a time to make goals for yourself, reflect on the passage of time, and take notice of the blessings in your life!

So take time today to write down some goals you have for yourself.

Knowing that you can achieve almost anything if you put forth the effort!

Then write under each goal, 3 ACTIONS you've gotta take to reach them.

Without action, even if messy and imperfect, you'll never move forward!

Don't be afraid to stumble towards your goals.

Sometimes you push and wade through blindly, but as long as you're moving forward- it's progress!

I think moments like these are perhaps my favorite part of having my own growing work from home business! It's hard and a struggle to keep all the balls in the air, but being able to be with my little lady makes it all worth it.

It also helps to have a wonderful partner like my Johnny Mozzarella who supports me. 🥰

This right here... is my why. Why I do what I do! 💗💗💗

How much time do we waste waiting for tomorrow? Life is short, brief, and goes by too fast.

Whatever dreams you have, do them.

Whomever you desire to become, be that person today.

Live like today is your last day, because it very well may be.

And when it comes time to get things done, to build your dreams, to live the life you were born to live, don't walk..RUN!

Let nothing get in your way, slow you down, or stop you.

Keep pressing and pushing with urgency. Life rewards the persistent!

Is it just me, or has this Christmas been a little different? 🤷‍♀️

I know mine FOR SURE has been irregular since we just brought home baby Zoey. 🥰👶🏽

I bought my first gift THIS Tuesday. I bought my last gift yesterday.

Nothing is wrapped.

The presents are just laying on the couch in the garage. Out in the open where anyone can see them. 🤦‍♀️

I'm giving my oldest cash this year. 💰 Just cash.

We decided to just give gifts to the kids and not exchange a gift with all 7,500 of our family members this year.

Why am I saying all this?

Well, it's because I think what I'm realizing this year more than ever, is that this 2020 Christmas is mostly all about family. More than it's ever been before.

It's been a tough year, and as Christmas comes sliding in and sneaking up unannounced this year. I'm unprepared and it is what it is.

So instead of comparing this year to years gone by, I'm focusing on the small moments of magic available THIS year. Like giving the boys Christmas pajamas and snuggling up to watch the Grinch on Christmas Eve. Those cheap traditions that money can't buy. 🎄🥰

I'm basking in the glow of the Christmas tree because, like all of 2020, this Christmas has come fast and hard. And at great expense!

So here's to a 2020 Christmas. You may not be perfect. But you're here. And we are thankful for you!

What's that thing you think you have to be or do before you're good enough? 🤔🤔

Is it having it all together? Hair done, house clean, bills paid on time every time, new car, business booming?

What if all that pressure you're putting on yourself was actually holding you back from getting to those things? 🤯🤯

When we judge ourselves harshly, we can develop the habit of negative self-talk. Negative self-talk keeps us stuck in a place of what won't work, what can't happen, and what's wrong with us and our lives.

We put all of this pressure on ourselves to be good enough, strong enough, smart enough, thin enough, never fall down, never drop the ball... BE PERFECT.

But all we ever really need to be- is just ourselves. 😍😎

The right people and the right opportunities for YOUR life, will be drawn to YOU. To your true self. If you're too busy trying to be someone or something else, you might miss them. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Everything you need to accomplish your goals and live your big dreams is inside of YOU. So spend a little time loving YOU today. Accepting YOU. Supporting YOU. Messy bun and all! And don't forget- Perfect is overrated! Just be YOU ❤❤
