Have you ever bought a bottle of wine just because you liked the label? (I'm going to say that I haven't, but obviously that's a lie.) When I'm designing labels and packaging, my goal is to have fun with it, and try to make the outside look as delicious as the inside.

My holiday designs are rolling out for my fabulous Ohio clients, Ørchard Bar & Table and Ørchard Farm Stand on Catawba Island. I love designing for the holiday season. Even though it doesn't feel too wintery here in Charleston, when I'm working on holiday designs I like to crank up the Christmas music and imagine it's snowing.

2021 Gold Winner in Aster Awards International Advertising Contest
Category: Newsletter Design
Client: Fisher-Titus Health System

The 2021 Aster Awards received entries from across the entire United States as well as abroad. All entries are reviewed by a panel of industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 percent. Participant’s entries compete against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.

All awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16% of the nation for advertising excellence. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal and ex*****on.

I deal with typography and fonts day in and day out. But I never imagined that the alphabet might have a fragrance. Love the creativity of this idea. I'd give it a whiff.
