Help your customers feel at ease 😌

Understanding the concept of Cognitive Dissonance is important for Marketers.

This concept can be used both before and after a purchase is made 🛍️

Before a purchase is made "Advertisers try to paint a picture that your life isn't complete without their product or their service. Many use cognitive dissonance to point out the inconsistencies between the idealized version of you and the real-life you."

Essentially you want to show your custom how your product will make their life better (closer to their 'ideal self image'), making them feel cognitive dissonance with the fact they don't currently own it. 👜

After a purchase consumers want to believe that they made the right purchase decision. They might "explain things away or reject new information that conflicts with their existing beliefs." -Medical News Today

An example of this would be a consumer ignoring youtube videos of negative feedback on a new computer they just bought 💻

Get PAID for your work 💰

How to write a contract 👇
When it comes to working with clients it's crucial to have your agreement outlined in a contract. This ensures both parties have a complete understanding of the work that will be done and the payment. 👷

Not having all of these in your contract could lead to clients trying to get out of paying. This is a freelancers worst nightmare 😱

Make sure your contract has the following
1. Deliverables
2. Payment and Deadlines
3. Timeline
4. Ownership
5. Confidentiality
6. Termination

For extra security also add
Electronic Signatures (for when signing online)
Waiver. (to ensure contract is kept)
Entire Agreement. (at end of contract for clear language)
