I heard football is back! The Indianapolis have their first game of the season today and what better to celebrate than by remembering their first home in Indianapolis, The Hoosier Dome!

As part of a series for , and partnering with the Colts, we made a design for each decade the Colts have been here in Indy. I had the pleasure of sinking my teeth into the 1980's design. Before it was the RCA Dome as some of us know it, it was called the Hoosier Dome before any sponsorship came around. There are only a handful of drawings/illustrations of the Hoosier Dome that I could find on the web for inspiration, but none felt right or genuine with the style I was going for, so I cobbled together some photos as reference material and drew the Dome the best I could, trying to keep the graphic design trends of the 80s in mind. I hope you like it, because I spent A LOT of time on it!

Purdue has a long history with astronautics and a good basketball program. Perhaps those are the two biggest things Purdue is known for?? Maybe?? Well, let this shirt design cement it for you!

Another round of Purdue goodies dropped at ! And I had the pleasure of designing a shirt for their Department of Forestry and Natural Resources.

I think the custom letters are neat and the mascot is cool, but what really takes the cake for me are those trees. I don't know how I came up with them, but somehow those background trees just look so cute to me. Like they could break out singing and dancing at any moment.

Another round of Purdue goodies dropped at ! And I had the pleasure of designing a shirt for their Department of Forestry and Natural Resources.

I think the custom letters are neat and the mascot is cool, but what really takes the cake for me are those trees. I don't know how I came up with them, but somehow those background trees just look so cute to me. Like they could break out singing and dancing at any moment.

Ropin', Ridin', and Rodeo! That's what Oklahoma State does!

I'll always jump at the chance to design some horses and cowboys/girls! has this tradition to kick off homecoming each year with a rodeo, officially sanctioned by the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.

I'm pretty proud of this one.

I joined the team at at the beginning of the calendar year and have been illustrating vintage collegiate apparel with a focus on sports and deep-cut school traditions. That's what we're about. But me, I'm not a big sports guy. I'm a big nature guy. So every now and then I'll pitch an idea for a shirt that comes out of left field. Like this one.

West Virginia University's Division of Forestry and Natural Resources dates back to the 1800s and, for a while, even had its own yearbook separate from the school's main yearbook.
