We think Don Messick would have been pleased. We knew when they did Studio Series 86 Ironhide that Ratchet wasn't going to be trailing too far behind! The white repaint which is supposed to be an ambulance has come with all its transparent plastic glory! So - without an actual red cross symbol, and without ANY other markings to set this apart as a medical vehicle, did they do enough to make this an ambulance? Before and after photos of the tub-to-shower conversion at my condo. Why am I brooming the tub? Because I don’t take baths anymore, I shower! I haven’t taken a “bath”since I was a kid 🙂.

For the first time since I was a teenager, I’m having orthodontic work done! First impressions? It feels like what it is - like I’ve got tiny cubes cemented to each tooth, with wires running between them all.

I feel constant pressure on each tooth as the braces do their thing. Eating and even drinking is less fun through all this metal and plastic, and it’s starting to ache to the point that even biting into soft bread is deterred.

Brushing and flossing is much more involved and time consuming. And I’m still at the stage where my mouth thinks all of this hardware is food that needs to be dissolved, so I’m constantly salivating.

I’m told you adjust and get used to it after a couple of weeks. I hope that’s true...
