2023 brought new resolutions and big goals for a lot of people.

For me it brought a theme, I am calling it “Work in Progress”

I have been having a sense of gratitude, reflecting on my previous years both personally and professionally.

The reason I am feeling all this is because of the transformation journey I have taken last year.

Just like a caterpillar, an analogy recently shared by a friend , I was in a cocoon. Breaking, crumbling, shattering from inside.

At one point in time, it felt like life has come to a halt.

And the pressure of proving myself, and becoming successful( as per the definition of social media) was increasing day after day.

But finally, when I started looking inside and reflecting on my journey, I could see a graph and I realized that I am surrounded by the company of the best leaders and mentors in my niche and a community who have been the reason for the transformation I have been going through.

It’s true that I have not become a butterfly yet, but I can feel my wings now. I am in a mushy state right now where I have come out of the cocoon recently but have yet to spread my wings for the first time.

So why I am calling it a “Work in progress” because I have stopped comparing my journey with people who have been running their businesses for so many years. Progress over perfection.

2023 is doomed!

As per Baba Vanga,

I am not sure if you have heard but this news is circulating all over the internet.

It says, According to Baba Vanga, a blind clairvoyant, 2023 is filled with alien attacks, artificial babies and so many more destructive things.

What caught my attention was that she even predicted 9/11

Say What!🤯

Yes, and to top it off she is not even alive, but she made her predictions till the year 5079- a year which she believed would be the end of the world.💥

⭕️Doctors will experiment with creating bio-weapons
⭕️Nuclear plant explosion
⭕️Visit from aliens will lead to a total blackout for 3 days
⭕️And a solar Storm of a scale that the world has never seen before.

Now I am not sure of the solar storm, but I am certain all entrepreneurs are gearing up to take the internet by storm in 2023.

Because for me, 2023 is the year of manifesting dreams into reality.

Nowadays, as the festive season is going on in India, so my family has come to stay with us.

I am excited but at the same time, my workload has increased 10 folds.

With professional as well as personal responsibilities.

Cooking, cleaning, serving, taking care of Tokyo, sitting for work at the right time, and remaining fresh-minded so that I can have a productive day.

It is getting tough to do it all efficiently.

And work is something I do not comprise with.

So this morning, I was again loaded with a lot of work, and I still felt tired from yesterday’s work.

And these days my partner is extremely busy as well, yesterday he came back home late at night after spending more than 12 hours in the office.

And he too didn’t get good sleep last night because Tokyo got sick and we had to wake up at 3 am to tend to her.

So I was expecting him to be in a bad mood too, but to my surprise, he was not.

He was okay, a bit too okay, and ready to start the day enthusiastically.

I was not paying any attention to his chirpy self until he pointed out; why are you so groggy, we slept at the same time.

That’s when I realized sometimes we get so stuck in our problems that we forget to breathe.

As it is said, everything starts with a thought first.

And it matters a lot what is the first thought that comes to you in the morning.

It can be,
“ I am going to kill it today and knock off all the challenges”

Or

“ how am I going to do so much, why isn't anyone helping me out, I want to go back to sleep but I can't. Everything sucks”

The latter is a version of my thought until my husband pointed it out.

And my nerve got relaxed almost instantly.

I think, all of us sometimes need a change in scenery.

Try to look for a view from another person’s window, metaphorically, it might be refreshing.

Anyways, it got easy after that.

I nailed every task one after another and sat at my work desk at the right time.

So next time you have a groggy morning, try to take your attention in a different direction and see if anything changes.

And if nothing changes 🤷🏻‍♀️ what can you do!

I kid you not, before writing this piece,

I was not able to connect with any story and was not sure what to share with you all today.

Then I remembered someone saying that,

He goes for a long walk to clear his mind.

So I thought of trying it out and take
“Tokyo”, my Labrador puppy along for her first official walk outside.

Everything was fine for the first 10 minutes,

She even tried bonding with kids playing around.

and shook hands with them as well.

I was giving her treats, here and there whenever she listened to my “Walk Command”

And then the very next moment, we were crowded.

Out of nowhere, 5-6 dogs came barking at Tokyo.

Naturally, I got scared, and my amygdala got activated ( it is a small part of your brain meant for survival)

A motorcyclist was passing by, so I stopped him and asked for his help.

He was a kind man, he asked me to leave and stopped the dogs from reaching me.

I walked a few steps and I could hear the barks getting closer.

Instinctively, I picked up a rock so that I can show it to the dogs and try to scare them away.

You are being manipulated!

Have you ever been on TV shows where a man behind the camera stands with instructions and manipulates the audience?

When he held the card which says “ Applaud”

Everyone Applauds and

When the card says” Laughter”

Everyone starts to laugh.

We too are getting manipulated in our day-to-day lives that too without being on any TV show.

You may ask how?

I tell you,

We associate all our emotions with the circumstances on the outside.

Even happiness.

We wait to get some kind of result to be happy,

Be it, when I get a client I will be happy
When I get a hick ticket Client I will be happy
When I have a s*x figure business I will be happy.

Although, we often overlook the fact that we can only be happy in the present moment.

This is something that I have been using myself for the last few days, not letting outside factors affect my inner peace.

I thought of sharing the same with you. Maybe this gives you a reason to smile now, at this moment.

Reading this would give you goosebumps!

This year started with a lot of investments in a lot of different sectors.

These investments were so huge that I really had to write down the pros and cons of the decision I wanted to take.

One of the investment was a Holistic Abundance course!

Why?

Because after working with personal development coaches, I felt I needed to learn more about all these amazing energies.

And this way I would also be better equipped in helping my clients because I will be able to understand them and their work better.

I got my certificate 3 months ago.

I learned so many high vibrational activities,

Aura healing, Chakra Healing, 5 body healing, manifestation techniques and so much more.

I got fully equipped to heal myself and my people.

I was never learning this skill to monetize on it, I am too happy to help out coaches who does it.

But in order to learn and be effective in these healing techniques, I had to practice them regularly and even on people so I choose to practice them with my family.

I do them even now.

But something happened during this course of 8 months.

I started to get overwhelmed,

And my struggle with life increased day after day.

Whenever I performed these techniques, the day would have gone so much better

But when i started avoiding it because of the other problems in life, my day got worse and worse.

It started to feel like all of a sudden somebody has thrown me into troubled waters

Where i am just trying to stay alive one more second.

I avoided doing these practises for a long time and remained in trouble,

When suddenly one day, I recalled

I recalled what a client of mine said once,

When multiple frequencies tries to exist together at the same time, it shakes up the world.

But the earthquake means that you are finally on the brink of raising your vibration.

As soon as I realised this, I started practicing one of the techniques everyday.

And it has been better.

I am at a much calmer place, vibing high with positivity and gratitude.

I am also sure, my energies are oozing out and reaching you,

If you start to feel goosebumps you know why!

Yesterday, I got the guts💪 to accept my own opinion.

Yes, it is the opposite of what everyone feels and practices.

But this is how it is for me, and now I own it! (feel like flexing my arms again, 💪)

It is about a different take on freelancing,

Yes, it provides you with all the freedom and you can choose when to work, where to work, how much to work, etc.

And everyone’s ultimate aim is to reduce their working hours and have higher cash flow!

Basically, living a comfortable life with a steady flow of income coming in on autopilot.

Yesterday, I took a cliesetting up boundaries all the time.

But who decided what these boundaries should be?

US freelancers, to be specific ( burnt freelancers)

So your client doesn’t misuse your talent and respects your time.

And you can maintain a good work-life balance.

Everyone also recommends establishing them right from the beginning.

I agree, they are right to some extent!

But I also feel it is okay to be open sometimes and test the waters by yourself.

When you know, a relationship can flourish if you extend your boundaries a little.

Then Why NOT!

We do this all the time in our personal relationships, adjusting to the situations at hand.

Then why can't we be adjusting in our professional life?

After all, online business is also all about making human connections.

Being our own boss means cherishing freedom.

And we must remember, freedom doesn’t always come with comfort.

Talking calls at midnight is also freedom, freedom of your choice.

But will I do that for every client, Maybe NOT!

Because it is the vibe that matters!

Some clients will be challenging and some will be straight out of your dreams.

So the idea is to not be rigid in the rules set up by our community.
And to also focus on the other side of freelancing which is not so glamorous and often not much talked about as well.

In the end, I would just like to say,

Not one size fits all, so adapt. After all, you are your own boss!

Make some new rules 😬 Be the CEO you always wanted to be!

People even earn with ugly-looking pages, well that's true but only half of it.

Sure, if you have a breathtaking offer even your ugly funnel will work but think if you have such a brilliant offer then what a strategically and beautifully designed funnel will do for your business.

Don't forget you only have 10 sec to catch your audience's attention and in 10-sec prospects will make judgments based on the appearance of your funnel.

Sure you are making money from people who are staying and reading your offer but what about people who hit the back button within 10 sec without even reading your offer.

Well, that is the power of design, and design done with strategy is everything you need to make your funnel converting.
