No one talks about this…

R430,000… for ONE night in South Africa.

While most of us are worrying about school fees, electricity and SARS…
someone is booking this without thinking twice.

But here’s the thing…

This is not a bad thing.

This is international money flowing into our country.
Tourism = jobs, income, opportunity.

Same country… very different realities.
And maybe… a very big opportunity 🇿🇦

29/04/2026

I saw an article saying you can lose up to 80% of your salary in South Africa…

At first I thought… no ways.

But then I actually sat down and looked at our numbers here in Cape Town.

Bond.
Cars.
Petrol.
Groceries.
Medical.
School.

And honestly… it adds up fast.

It’s almost like you don’t lose your money in one place…
you lose it everywhere.

So no… it’s not that SARS takes 80%
it just feels like it.

Curious… what’s your biggest monthly expense right now?

Comment PRADA and I’ll send you the free guide breaking down the viral strategy behind The Devil Wears Prada👠

What other things have you noticed about how The Devil Wears Prada is showing up everywhere right now?

Let’s discuss in the comments what you’re seeing below 👇

A car parked at an airport for 10 years.

Apparently it’s real.

But what fascinated me even more is why it may not be that easy to remove these cars.

This raised a bigger question for me…

Should unclaimed vehicles eventually be sold at auction?

I cannot believe it’s been 20 years since The Devil Wears Prada… can’t wait for number 2. Who’s with us? 👠

If you’re also obsessed… you’ll understand this one.

Ackermans… but make it Prada. And honestly, they came through.

Me and Anneliza had way too much fun filming this 😂

Tell us… do you love these looks? 👠👠👠👠

If you want to build a brand people actually connect with…
you cannot control your marketing from the boardroom.

I’ve seen this happen firsthand.

The best idea gets shut down.
The room goes quiet.
And afterwards… everyone agrees, but no one says a word.

Here’s the truth:
Your marketing team is closest to your customer.
They hear the conversations.
They understand what people actually care about.

But when decisions come from the top disconnected from real life
your message stops landing.

A CEO earning millions a year does not feel life the same way your customer does.
Different conversations. Different realities.

And marketing only works when you step into their world.

So if you’re in leadership:
Listen more. Control less.

That’s how brands are built today.

We’re asking the wrong question.

It’s not:
“Why should creators get R1 billion?”

It’s:
Why are platforms making money from South Africans…
but not paying creators the same globally?

Mmusi Maimane didn’t say anything crazy.

He just said out loud
what most people don’t understand yet.

Everyone is saying this song is stupid…
but that’s exactly why it’s working.

You don’t have to like it.
You don’t even have to agree with it.

But you cannot ignore it.

And that’s the point.

As business owners, we think we need to create the best content…
perfect lighting, perfect message, perfect everything.

But the truth?

The content that wins is the content that gets people talking.

Because attention = opportunity
And opportunity = money

So before you judge…
ask yourself:

👉 Would people talk about what you’re posting?

I outsmarted Eskom… and it started with something as small as a kettle.

We packed away our electric kettle and switched to gas.

That’s it.

No big system.
No solar.
No major investment.

And the result?
👉 About R2000 saved on our electricity bill.

Now yes we work from home and we use the kettle a lot…
but that’s exactly the point.

It’s the small, daily habits that quietly drain your money.

As an entrepreneur, I’ve realised this:
It’s not just about how much you make…
it’s about how wisely you spend what you worked so hard for.

Most people are trying to earn more…
but they’re leaking money in places they don’t even notice.

This was one small shift.
But it made a big difference.

And I promise you there are more like this.

👇 Tell me in the comments:
Are you team gas or team electric?

The part people don’t always see…

The in-between moments.
The quick chats.
The “nice to meet you’s” that turn into something more.

It’s almost as if business isn’t built in big moments…
but in small, consistent connections over time.

Not every conversation leads somewhere.
But every conversation builds something.

And over time… that becomes your reputation.
Your name in rooms you’re not even in yet.

The shocking truth behind convenience…

I tested it 👇

🍔 Homemade double burger
R46.30

🍔 KFC (in-store)
R62.90
Already more… but still reasonable.

🍔 Uber Eats (just the burger)
R77.90
Now we’re climbing.

🍔 Uber Eats total
R105.73 (that includes delivery + fees + a R9.60 tip)

So let’s be real for a second…

You’re paying:
👉 R59 MORE than making it at home
👉 R42 MORE than just going to KFC yourself
👉 Almost 70% more for the same burger

I get it. I’ve done it too.

But here’s the part we don’t talk about:

You can’t complain that you don’t have money… and not look at habits like this.

Because it’s never just one order. It’s this… a few times a week… every month.

And suddenly it’s not R40 extra…it’s thousands over time.

Let’s discuss in the comments.

I attended the launch of Glorious Unbroken by Gloria Arendse at the beautiful Versace Mansion in Camps Bay.

Before the event, Annalize helped me style the whole look dress, earrings, hair… the works. And of course we found the perfect finishing touches at

But here’s the part that made me smile…
The dress actually belongs to my daughter.

Life has a funny way of coming full circle one day you dress your children, the next day you borrow their clothes.

Also, my secret stick on bra I got from .sa.shapewear in Somerset West Mall.

What do you think of the dress? I love to colour 💖
