RVAFW did not disappoint. What an incredible week celebrating creativity, community, and the talent right here in our own backyard. Our local designers showed up and showed out and I was honored to be in the room for every moment of it.

To for trusting me as his PR counsel on his media team and the amazing experience! And to my girls for getting dressed up and turning fashion week into a week long girls night! 🩷🩷🩷

I already can’t wait for next year 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Richmond Fashion Week opened its doors to the public last night, and it was worth the wait. The opening gala was an evening I won't soon forget. But if you know, you know. A few moments from inside the room. And we're just getting started!

Wednesday night. The room. The people. The mission.

I had the honor of being in the room as a sponsor for AI Ready RVA’s Power of Possibility event and the energy was everything.

What stood out most? The people. The connections. The real conversations about where RVA is headed with AI.

Will Melton and William Willis (Will Squared) grateful for you both. This is what community looks like. 💕

Not gonna lie… I love a good swag bag 😌✨

But what I really love? Being in rooms where ideas, innovation, and opportunity are all happening in real time.

Happening today! 💗

I’m excited to serve as a media sponsor, alongside my partner OOn The MIC With MIKE for AAI Ready RVAs Power of Possibility conference!

I’ll be looking for practical ways AI can support your storytelling, social media, visibility, and more.

I’ll report back with what you actually need to know to stay ahead and not get left behind, so you can be AI Ready. 💕

As we close out Women’s History Month, I’ve been reflecting on the rooms I’ve been in, the conversations I’ve been a part of, and most importantly—the women I’ve had the honor of knowing, working with, and growing alongside here in Richmond.

March was a whirlwind—in the best way.
I kicked off the month appearing on Virginia This Morning with Jawanda Smith to promote The Price of Success: The Woman CEO… followed by hosting that very event and witnessing so many women show up fully in their journeys.

From there, I had the opportunity to attend the Richmond Times-Dispatch Women Who Drive Change awards luncheon, spend an evening at The Richmond Forum hearing Tracee Ellis Ross in conversation with Daphne Reid, and close out with the WNC Lagniappe Finding Her Voice: Leadership, Expression & Wellbeing event.

And beyond the events, I’ve had the privilege of working with and supporting so many women across Richmond who are doing incredible work every single day—often behind the scenes, but making a real impact in their businesses and communities. That includes the next generation as well, like my intern Nevaeh, who is continuing to grow and step into her own path in this work.

This month wasn’t just about celebrating history… it was about witnessing it in real time.

Women launching businesses.
Women leading in their industries.

Women creating impact in their communities.
And being in relationship with so many of you—professionally and personally—is something I don’t take lightly. I am truly honored just to know you.

This is the epitome of what I do.

I started JEA Communications to come alongside women, to support their vision, amplify their voices, and inspire them to show up fully in what they’re creating.

While today marks the close of the monthly observation, the work continues—and so will I. I will continue to support, highlight, and use my platform to uplift the incredible work happening all around me.

Grateful for every conversation, every connection, and every woman who is boldly making her mark.
Let’s keep going 💫

A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend The Richmond Forum and hear Tracee Ellis Ross speak, truly a special experience.
Her conversation on identity, impact, and joy, moderated by Daphne Reid, was thoughtful, honest, and inspiring.

And being in the room, surrounded by so many women here in Richmond who are building, leading, and making an impact, especially during Women’s History Month, made it even more meaningful. 🩷🩷🩷
