Lincoln (13) and Justine (10) started Yay for Today Yard Signs as a summer business to earn money and learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

They created a business plan and are executing it with parental supervision. Doing a little advertising today in the neighborhood! Look for our sign in the round-a-bout by the small pool. The ground was so rocky there that our sign is a bit uneven. We had a hard time getting the stakes in the ground.

Time for the business co-owner to get some Birthday love! Lincoln turns 14 today so I snuck outside and put the sign up for him! His partner in crime had to make an appearance in the picture too.

This lovely lady was 98 yesterday! We love great grandma Arda and were delighted to celebrate her with our birthday sign! We tried to add a 98 balloon but the cold weather tried to deflate it. Here’s to another year, great grandma!

The kids dispersed flags in the neighborhood yesterday as a way to show patriotism and to get a jump start on their business. One of our Stone Oak neighbors heard about their business and hired them to place the flags for his company. They were honored to be asked to do it and excited to be able to earn a nice wage for their wallets.
