My name is Aini, I am from Indonesia, now live in USA with my husband, Keith and our wonderful son. The hardest part was career. My college degrees and my 15-year experiences in Accounting and Finance didn’t apply here in USA. So, I started my career as

a cashier at a grocery store, then a
packaging labor in a pharmaceutical,
sushi chef
a preschool teacher now

We spent all our saving for

adoption and to bring our son home from Indonesia in 2016, 2 years later my husband lost his job and soon we were in debt. Not long after, we had to cash our pension fund to pay for medical debt. Now we have no saving, no retirement plan and our future was in jeopardy. We are in our early 50’s and our son just 9 years old. Living from paycheck to paycheck is not our option. We had to start do something different or we would work till we die to support our young son. That exactly what Warren Buffett said, “If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you ‘ll work until you die.”

One day after worked, I stopped by at Walmart to get some grocery, a very old senior lady helped me checkout with her shaking hands and about a month later I saw her picture with flowers on a customer service counter and I asked them about her, and they said she passed away. She worked till she died. That was my wake-up call. Live is short and I have no time to waist. I started looking and soon I found myself selling on Amazon FBA, I lost lot of money and it was so frustrating, I didn’t even want to touch my computer. Soon I found out that business wasn’t for me, and I didn’t know what to do. I cried out to God, and you know what? When you reach your hands up, God will reach His down. I was watching my Indonesian preacher on YouTube before sleeping that night and an ad popped up showing a wonderful lady talking about a digital business opportunity. I was confused and skeptic, but I have nothing to lose. I signed up to learn more and My self-doubt voice start talking “I am introvert, I am shy, I am a quiet person, I can’t do this” but my other voice in my head keep fighting “You either die learning or work till You die!”. I joined the business right away. Thanks God I did. While I am sharping my skill in online space, I also developing my personal growth. So, if you are looking for something that could change your life, look no further, this is for you! Don’t let your negative inner voice hold you back.

Storm Update – St. Louis

The storm that hit St. Louis recently has really turned things upside down for us. Trees were knocked down all over the neighborhood – one even fell on a power pole and blocked the road, and another landed right on our neighbor’s car.

We’ve been without power for two days now. It’s been tough. I’ve been spending two hours at the library just to charge my phone and laptop. Tried to do some laundry at the laundromat, but they were closed too – no power there either.

Some traffic lights are out across this area, which is causing chaos on the roads. Be careful if you’re driving around.

I went grocery shopping just before the storm hit, and now the fridge and stove aren’t working. Most of the food has gone bad, which is incredibly frustrating.

Hoping power gets restored soon. We checked on our senior neighbor who lives by herself but she wasn’t home. Hang in there, everyone – stay safe and check on your neighbors if you can.
