Snapchat has just announced a new grant of $100,000 (£82,000) per month. This is in order to help all independant music artists distributing on the platform.

Titled the 'Sounds Creator Fund' for unsigned artist using on Snapchat. According stats say each song can earn up to $5000 (£4009) with a limit of 20 songs.

Is this a W or L for Snapchat?

A woman has just dropped a $20 million r**e law suit against

The woman who accused trey songz of r**e had asked the lawsuit against the rapper to be dropped and the case to be dismissed without prejudice. Personally I find this abit strange as back in 2016 since the alleged attack she suffered from "fear, humiliation, anxiety, depression and many other physical and emotional injuries"

July 6th the judge granted the request for dismissal and no further details where given. What's your thoughts on this? 🤔

Three of songs have been removed from streaming services. Due to the fake vocals. Monster, Breaking News & Keep Your Head Up which was all available on the 2010 compilation album. This was all brought to court by a fan but say the removal had nothing to do with authenticity. What are your thoughts?

has recently been denied bond and his now expected to remain in jail until the next trail in 2023.

The rapper was first denied bond back in May. This is his second denial as he is still pleading not guilty for the 56 count indictment against him and his label YSL Record.

44 % ROYALTY INCREASE. The copyright royalty board will be increasing the rate for all musicians and publishers. Back in 2018 there was an increase from 10.5% to 15.1%. But now after a long battle with platforms such as and . There will be an increase rate to 44%. Its about time we all got paid correctly for our work 🙏
