Linen signage is having a moment this year, and for this wedding we went all in. 🤍

Instead of using traditional seating chart material like vinyl or pvc board, we printed directly onto linen to bring an extra layer of softness and texture to this couple's display. It was the perfect complement to the lush draping, florals, and textural details woven throughout the wedding.

One of my favorite parts about designing for a wedding is creating a vision that carries through every moment of the day. For Reagan and Luke, we had the opportunity to design everything from their invitation suite to the final day-of details, making every piece feel connected.

Their invitation suite introduced guests to the design with letterpress printing, blind embossing, watercolor artwork, a custom monogram, and gold wax seals. It was layered with texture and thoughtful details that set the tone before the celebration even began.

The Monet-inspired water lily theme continued throughout the wedding day. Guests found their seats on a custom es**rt display featuring Monet’s classic Water Lilies painting, with each guest’s name placed on an individually die-cut swan. The same artwork was carried onto the custom bar facade, creating a beautiful focal point to tie the reception space together.

From there, every paper detail was designed to feel like it belonged among the flowers. Embossed die-cut dinner menus, ceremony programs, personalized cocktail books for the lounge, matchbooks, cocktail napkins, bar signage, and even monogrammed server aprons all became part of the same story.

Seeing a vision come to life across so many different pieces is always incredibly rewarding. Thank you, Reagan and Luke, for trusting me to help bring part of your wedding to life. It was such an honor to be part of your day.

What if finding your seat became one of the most memorable parts of the evening?

For this wedding, every guest received a custom award ribbon with a category made just for them. Think “Best Hair,” “Cutest Couple,” and plenty of inside jokes that reflected each guest’s personality.

Guests immediately started searching for their ribbons, laughing together, comparing awards, and finding friends and family throughout cocktail hour. It was such a fun way to bring everyone into the celebration before dinner even began.

We love creating interactive details that make guests feel included while giving them something they’ll want to hold onto long after the wedding.

The latest issue of Nebraska Wedding Day features one of our custom-designed invitation suites, celebrating retro design in all its bold, funky glory. 🥃🌼🍊🧡🪩

Inspired by the retro charm of the Scarlet Ballroom at Graduate by Hilton Lincoln, this suite leaned fully into mid-century modern style— think geometric shapes, funky patterns, rich color, and unexpected details that feel both nostalgic and fresh.

The invitation suite itself was a homage to mid-century mod design, with every piece layered to create a cohesive and visually striking experience the minute the guests open the envelope.

My favorite piece to fabricate was the custom laser-cut pocketfold that held the entire suite together. We took inspiration from old mid-century patterns and weaved it into the pocket for an unexpected touch. And of course, the die-cut wh***ey glass that doubles as an rsvp card!
