Mission Editor Developer Early Access is almost here!

Since our announcement, the response from the community has been incredible!

As mentioned, any developer can create a configuration for their own aircraft and have it integrate automatically with Mission Editor. To make sure everything works perfectly from day one, we’re opening a first phase of testing — for military aircraft & helicopter developers only.

If you’re building a military aircraft or helicopter for X-Plane 12 and want to be part of this first wave, send us a private message. Spots are limited and early access begins end of May.

Hey guys! It has been quite some time since we announced that we will be making the ATR and since the last time we posted something regarding the current state of the project!

So here is a post with some Work In Progress pictures and some details!

Most of the essential systems are currently complete, we are now focusing on more visual parts like the Displays and how they display each mode and each indication as well as the different button and warning indications in the cockpit!

We are happy to announce that we are aiming for a 2026 release and that a more exact date and pricing will be released later on!

Feel free to ask anything you might be curious about and we will do our best to answer your questions!

We’re proud to introduce our newest product: the Mission Editor!

Over the past months, we’ve been quietly developing a companion tool designed to bring more depth, realism, and life to all our Military Jets.

With the Mission Editor, every pilot can now create a complete Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) — including Steering Points, Mark Points, Threats, Targets, Bullseyes, and everything else you’d expect from the DTC of aircraft such as the F-16, Viggen SF37, or M-346.

To make this system widely accessible, we’ve adopted a two-map approach:

• Default Map: Rendered directly from X-Plane data — no internet connection or subscription required.

• Navigraph Map: Uses Navigraph’s high-quality map data (requires an active Navigraph subscription and internet access).

We also made sure that other developers can take advantage of the Mission Editor! Any developer can easily create a configuration for their own aircraft and include it directly with their product — no user setup or manual steps required. If you own both the Mission Editor and any compatible Military Aircraft, everything will integrate automatically behind the scenes.

On top of that, every mission you create can be shared freely, allowing you to plan, fly, and enjoy coordinated operations with friends and the wider community.

Our current release window is Q2–Q3 2026, and we’ll be sharing more details on pricing, exact release date, and additional features as we approach launch.

Here is the CRJ Series Roadmap for 2026!

Q1 are already released for the -700, with the changes coming to the -900 and -1000 later today!

Any bugs that might occur between the roadmap set releases will be addressed with intermediate updates.
