⚡What is the power of branding?

A brand is a name, term, design, or symbol that identifies one seller's product from another in the minds of consumers. Brands are important because they help increase revenue for businesses by making it easier for consumers to identify and remember their products. Adding an element such as color can also make it easier to identify a company's products on store shelves. A brand is not just a logo or company name it's what makes customers want to keep coming back!

One example of this is Coca-Cola, which uses its signature red-and-white color scheme on all of its cans and bottles. This consistent look across all of the company's products allows its customers to easily recognize the company's individual products.

Brands are also very beneficial because they allow companies to better control their image. Without a brand, a company is at risk of having its name and image used by other companies in an unauthorized manner. Having control over your brand can help prevent this from happening.

The power of branding is that people don't buy what you make, they buy why you make it! Take IBM for example; IBM doesn't make computers for the consumer market anymore. They are known worldwide as a company that builds and maintains computers for companies. This is where the power of branding really shines; IBM doesn't build computers based on what they think the customer wants, they build them because that's what their clients expect.

There is no better example than Apple Computers. We all know Apple as a high-end computer company, but that's not what they started out as! Apple was originally an audio company, however, not only did they quickly change their image to image computing products they also changed their logo! The original apple logo was very similar in style to their early audio products which struck many clerks as being too "techy.

In 1978, Apple once again changed their logo to what is now known as their apple logo and look. The new logo was more of an Apple-like fruit looking more like it was sinking in a bowl of applesauce rather than sitting on a computer desk.

This allowed their logo to match the new image of the company, but it also made it more approachable. Apple was able to change their image and how people saw them by using branding as a tool.

Lastly, brands are important and essential in today's business world
because they allow consumers to easily identify products and services without having to do a lot of research. This saves time for most people who may not have time to research every product that they buy, which is probably why you're reading this post. Brands offer companies a great way for their customers to quickly identify the type of products that they offer at any given time.
