Our 110mm F-35C lands exceptionally well with full span flaps, just like its full scale counterpart. The only thing missing are leading edge flaps which would allow it to hold a higher angle of attack on landing without risking a stall.

The HU-16 Albatross is incredible. You can even do totally un-scale landings like this instead of just flying around in a high alpha like the full scale HU-16s always did.

The F-35C sucks at performing upright high alpha, but slows down beautifully inverted with the CG balanced 50 to 60mm behind the recommendation and extensive gyro stabilization that mimics the full scale aircraft's flight control computer. If you're not flying the F-35C with a gyro, you're not flying it scale.

Sure, you can fly boring circles which aren't scale at all. Flying true to scale like this is possible if you put in the effort and learn how to do it. The Dynam RC E-2C Hawkeye from Fpv Builds has some quirks, but it's super fun to fly.
