Did you know you can actually get paid to recycle your old electronics. (computers, printers, cell phones, ect.) An easy way is to call your local store and ask if they have a recycling program. Some stores will give you credit for bringing in old Junk!

Remember to keep plastic bags out of your recycling. If you use plastic bags to gather your recycling the entire bag will be treated like trash and end in the landfill. Grocery store bags are also typically not recyclable through standard collection methods. They can however be dropped off at local grocery stores where they have the ability to recycle them.

I started this page because EVERY day I get home from work and check the mail to find a handful of junk mail sitting in the mailbox. Some is addressed to us, some to the previous owner, and some to "current resident." It is so wasteful to see handfuls of items I don't even open end up in the recycling. We are in a digital age and I think junk mail should get with the times.
