This caught my attention today, and I am sure each state would have similar initiatives. It is vital to keep on top of your own welbeing after such a difficult time for so many people the last year and beyond.
Take care of YOU!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

Lest we forget...

I have seen this idea going around Facebook for a while now, many people suggesting similar things and now it’s official! It is seems in this beautiful country of ours there is nothing that will stop the people as a whole from doing what is right, what their hearts desire. We are a good bunch as a whole, and you should all be very proud.

See you at the end of your driveways on ANZAC morning everyone.

ANZAC Day 2020 will not look like the ANZAC Day that so many of us are used to participating in. There will be a Dawn Service, wreaths will be laid, the last post will be played, a minute of silence in memory of the fallen will be observed, but the service community and the public will be asked to stay at home.

This does not mean that ANZAC Day is cancelled. It just means that ANZAC Day will be different.

In 2020, on April 25, while you can't go to the Shrine of Remembrance or a local Dawn Service, the RSL is asking that instead you .

As the Last Post is played during the ANZAC Day Dawn Service walk outside, stand in your yard, driveway, or on your balcony and observe a minute of silence in respect of our veterans. Make sure that you snap a quick picture and share it right here on our page using the hashtag .

Together, let's amplify our commitment to the ANZAC spirit. Lest We Forget.

Tonight I was watching television and noticing things I hadn’t ever noticed before. Friends enjoying each others company, people hugging and shaking hands, loved ones being collected at airports, people dining in restaurants, and leisurely strolls through crowded events. Quite simply it was just people doing normal things, that until now we have all taken for granted.

This isn’t something I had ever noticed before, because we don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone.

This is only the beginning of this health crisis, and I KNOW I will be appreciating every tiny little thing so much more on the other side of this, as much as I appreciate that the health of those around me is the only important thing.

Stay safe. Save lives. STAY HOME!

Play your part in flattening the curve.

When I started in Martial Arts it was very much a male dominated industry. I came up through the ranks predominately training with and against men with very few females.

Today as a female instructor passionate about anti-bullying and women’s self defence, I am so incredibly proud to post numbers like this. Knowing the culture is changing, perceptions are changing and more females are learning Martial Arts makes me so incredibly proud to be Instructing.

Owners of The Mogo Lolly Shop and their community went through more than those of us outside fire zones could have ever imagined. To know one idea can turn into a platform to offer any level of support to these businesses, families, communities is incredible. Restocking, selling, and again employing staff, with smiles returning as customers return... So proud of Shop 2 Support Bushfire Communities playing a part in this.

One idea, one awesome team, and 37,400+ members 🧡

Without Shop 2 Support Bushfire Communities we wouldn’t have found our feet so fast just prior to reopening The Mogo Lolly Shop after being closed for 45 days and having to throw away all of our stock. The many people who have purchased from us online has been unbelievable and we Thank each and every person who has supported us. Thankyou for your continued support as we recover 💖
