Attn: all who live in Cass County, Missouri – It seems that the Harrisonville Post Office is being challenged in some way, shape or form. Last November, many who mailed in their county property taxes, were told that the collector never received them. The collector ended up addressing this issue with the county. Fast forward a few months and it seems that somehow the Harrisonville Post Office is still challenged. Many, including ourselves, have yet to receive our county assessment post cards in the mail. Upon reaching out to the assessors office this morning, I was told that the best way to file your assessment information, would be to call in and do it over the phone. The Cass County Assessor’s office can be reached at 816-380-8400, Option #2.

Perhaps signing up for “informed delivery” would also help everyone. It’s a simple, FREE, process to sign up for daily emails regarding your incoming mail items.

I’m just sharing this to everyone to let everyone know and perhaps help in this challenging situation.

Informed Delivery is a free service from USPS that shows you preview images of incoming mail, plus status updates about your incoming and outbound packages. Get notifications in a morning Daily Digest email, or at any time from the dashboard using your smartphone, computer, or USPS Mobile app.
