I am busy designing motifs for my "in the forest" design for the "Make it happen" course of My final design is not yet ready, but I wanted to ask you if you would like this kind of wallpaper? Any thougths?

For my "in the forest"-design I also wanted to draw a solomon's seal, which I found rather difficult, but it turned out nice I think. I played with the idea of colouring it in with gradient colours. Do you think this works?

Today I'm drawing Marsh horsetail, a plant you can find in the meadow. It's not so easy to create a design with it... So work in progress.

My "Sweet woodruff" design as a moody coloured wallpaper for a bedroom. I'd love to work together with a sustainable wallpaper brand to license my designs. What do you think? Does it give a nice feel?

For the course of I intend to design some patterns inspired by local nature. One of my designs will be created around flowers of the forest. Sweet woodruff is one of them. I couldn't resist making a design with only this flower in. What do you think? Would it be suitable for bedding or wallpaper?

Wild garlic, one of the species I love very much, and this flower too inspires me to go drawing. It will surely be one of the flowers in my "in the forest" designs. It grows in slope forests, with a lot of shadow (beech forests).

From photo to motif... inspiration from a bluebell on a photo, elementary drawings on paper, scanned in and imported in Illustrator; then I drew the flower with the pentool which resulted in the motif...

I love walking and seeking for inspiration in nature. Two weeks ago I visited Hallerbos, south of Brussels, a large forest, world famous for the bluebells in spring. In normal years, thousands and thousands of visitors come here to enjoy the millions of flowers. This year it was very calm to walk around there. The views off the beechtrees with the ground covered with bluebells were amazing... These flowers in this kind of forests inspired me for one of my designs for my Make it Happen-project of Make it in Design
