AI has become pervasive in our culture, replacing human thought and creativity—including inside our churches. What would you do if you discovered your church used Chat-GPT to write its content? Is it ok for certain uses (for writing social media posts or newsletter articles) but dishonest for others (for writing sermon descriptions or devotionals)? Let me hear your thoughts!

Last month I had the privilege of meeting the wonderful people at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Their care and encouragement for me and one another reminded me that God's promises are not just words on a page—they’re alive and active through His people. Truly, the Lord is the Good Shepherd, and His goodness and mercy are evident in this church family. 💙

I’ll be honest. I often catch myself passing judgment and expecting God to do the same. But thankfully, He doesn’t work that way. Instead, God is patient with us, using kindness—not condemnation—to lead us to repentance. This verse is a humbling reminder that my ways are all too often not God's ways.
