Have you checked out Carolina Trace Fire Department's new website? I've been photographing this fire department's training events for almost a decade, so we had so many interesting photos to include in their blog and safety articles.

What I love most about this group is the true grit, determination and valor that these everyday heroes give to their community when they do CPR to save someone's grandma or pull kids from a wreck on 87 or go into a fire to rescue family pets.

Are you looking for a new gym here in Sanford? I highly recommend Sandhills CrossFit because the coaches are so knowledgeable, the gym is full of great equipment and the owner is fantastic! Orthodontist and gym owner, Glynda McConville isn't new to marketing a new business, so she knew exactly what she was looking for in a new website, logo, signage and a massive mural. The color scheme was so much fun!

Have you checked out Funky Frogz Play Cafe here in Sanford? It's been a wonderful journey watching this small business grow. When the owner came to me, looking for a logo to help launch her business, we worked together and came up with the fun design that really embodied the energy of the brand. A year later, they have a bright, fun location with dozens of happy kids and parents who come to play every day. Stop by with your little one. You'll really have a blast! Some website design projects are just so rewarding to work on, and the new HAVEN (domestic violence shelter) website was a massive undertaking that really paid off.

The client was looking for professional imagery that was empowering and diverse to appeal to everyone from violence survivors who need resources to interns, volunteers and corporate donors. In addition, the website needed to have quick bits of easily-accessed information, but also needed articles to be written that would educate the general public about how HAVEN helps Lee County. Lastly, a blog with survivors' stories of hope and healing gives a human touch.

Truly a wonderful experience building this website.

Can I brag on VLO Signs & Graphics just a bit? I have NEVER had a better business partner who was honest and upfront with everything they do. When I designed this sign for Sandhills CrossFit, VLO wasn’t sure they could produce a sign this large, but offered to try. And WOW! They knocked it out of the park! This sign is big and bold and perfect for a CrossFit gym.

Sandhills CrossFit is accepting new members at their location in Northview (Sanford). They have various class times to fit any schedule, and 24 hr gym options too. All of their coaches are certified and all of the workouts will kick your butt (but are absolutely scalable to your body)

VLO is also in Sanford and produces signs and vehicle graphics of all types and has been a business partner for over 8 years. They do excellent work at fair prices.

It’s always so cool to see your designs out in the wild! We created this design for CAD Auto Detailing earlier in the spring and they just got a new shop right next to our gym. Congrats on this big step, CAD’s! Your logo looks fantastic on your truck and sign, and I wish you the best of luck.

This logo redesign came out really neat and fresh. Hubbard Landscape Management was looking for a new logo that was more classy to appeal to upscale new clients. After a quick discussion about his branding strategy and marketing goals, he had solid design options in his inbox in less than a week. The final design is really neat, and sure to help them stand out.

Can I tell you how much fun it was to paint this mural? The Maddoxes had just completed their new house and wanted something to make their patio stand out. The provided a very small image they had printed out, and asked that we make it come to life. Here's the final sailfish mural. It's stunning, in all of the detail and vibrancy.
