Safety Starts Before the Showing

Before you walk into the next property, ask yourself:

Who knows where I am?

Have I checked my surroundings?

Do I know my exits?

Is my phone accessible?

If I carry a personal safety tool, can I actually reach it?

A safety product buried at the bottom of a purse may not be very helpful when seconds matter.

Awareness first. Preparation always.

September is REALTOR® Safety Month

Safety begins with awareness, preparation, and knowing your options.

This month also marks a new chapter for my personal safety initiative.

BeAware – Not Without Defense, formerly SASEE – Not Without Defense, has been restructured as an initiative under Sharon Unlimited.

I have been a Independent Damsel in Defense PRO, and my commitment to continuing to teach situational awareness, personal safety, and preparedness remains the same.

Throughout September, I’ll be sharing practical safety information, product education, and resources for real estate professionals and others who want to become more aware, prepared, and confident.

This isn’t about living in fear.
It’s about being informed and prepared.

Current initiatives include:

Sharon Leigh Media - interactive video, digital visibility, and media solutions designed to help small businesses share their message and connect with their audience.

BeAware – Not Without Defense - situational awareness, personal safety education, preparedness resources, and access to personal protection products as an Independent Damsel in Defense PRO.

Clean With Sharon Leigh - education and products that support cleaner, safer, and healthier homes as an Independent Norwex Representative.

While each initiative serves a different purpose, they are connected by one goal: helping people become more informed, prepared, confident, and empowered in the choices they make for their businesses, personal safety, and homes.
