In the world of Consumer Packaged Goods, most clients come to us wanting to be environmentally responsible and still print with all the 'bell's and whistles'. It's so important to educate many as they may be unaware that certain printing techniques can introduce harmful chemicals even though the final product will look great. In turn, they may run into greenwashing as their products will not be environmentally friendly.
Our Solution:
Here, we are doing a simple paper tube, no varnish for an Equine CBD supplement product line. The black allows for the color to have great contrast without a varnish. The client wanted a foil stamped logo. Foil stamping and metallized board can produce landfill waste and complications when recycling discarded packaging. Therefore, to give them the pop they want for their logo, metallic ink will be printed which creates NO waste in the recycling process.
