You have no idea what the "true" purpose of your store is, so you use it as a place to do a million things. A Shopify store is a place where you conduct business - where you make the sale! Build your store to FOCUS on convincing the visitor to make the sale, NOT further marketing or nurturing, or branding.โฃ

Most people leave a TON of traffic leaks on their store like social media feeds, cross-sell to other products, links to blogs, articles etc... On top of that, they give their visitors a million choices by adding a crap ton of upsell apps, bundle apps, price break options, etc. This confuses the crap out of your customer, and they get decision fatigue very quickly. Which will NOT result in them making a decision to even add your product to cart so you can at least retarget them. โฃ

Focus on making the SALE on your Shopify store. Promote the MAIN product you want to sell, not a crap ton of adjacent products. Close up all your traffic leaks. Stop giving your visitors a reason to look at other things or leave your store, they have ONE thing to do when they get to your storeโฃ...

BUY the product on the page being shown or LEAVE. โฃ

Once they buy, now you can do a lot with them - order bumps, upsell, post-purchase upsell, cross-sell, down-sell, etc...the options once they become your customer is ENDLESS. โฃ

Here is reality, APPEARANCES matter! Doesn't matter what your religion, beliefs, and good virtues tell you. We live in a world of superficial values ESPECIALLY online. So make sure your stores look half decent and there is some cohesiveness to it that resembles and gives the perception that you are a credible brand. โฃ

Random images and random products slapped together in a store with a FIVERR logo are not going to cut it in 2022. This s**t worked in 2017, but now people are smarter and more sophisticated, and they know what to look for when they are on your store. The ecom space has evolved, and being a trustworthy store is more essential than ever. The easiest hack to create more trust is just simply build better stores. Make sure you have all the important pieces in place, like trust pages. Make sure you actually research and think about your color scheme
