Gukom Western Mindanao Tribal Leaders Federation Stands Firm Against Corruption and Destabilization Attempts

“We, the members of Gukom Western Mindanao Tribal Leaders Federation stand united with the President in his efforts to eradicate corruption. The misuse of public funds intended for flood control is a grave offense that directly impacts our communities, especially those in vulnerable areas. We demand a thorough and impartial investigation to bring those responsible to justice.

The Federation emphasizes that corruption undermines the progress and development of Western Mindanao, hindering efforts to improve the lives of its people. We pledge our full cooperation with the government in its anti-corruption campaign.

At the same time, the Gukom Western Mindanao Tribal Leaders Federation condemns any attempts to destabilize the government by taking advantage of the flood control scandal.

We recognize that certain elements may seek to exploit this issue for their own political gain, attempting to sow discord and undermine the stability of our nation. We will not allow our communities to be used as pawns in their schemes. We call on all citizens to remain vigilant and reject any calls for destabilization.

The Federation vehemently urges the public to support the government's efforts to address corruption and work together to build a stronger, more resilient Philippines.”
