In 2012, a photo went viral of a blind boy who found a four leaf clover entirely by touch 🍀 His dad shared online that he felt through the grass and picked one out by himself.

The odds of finding a four leaf clover are roughly 1 in 10,000, or 0.01%. For centuries, the four leaf clover has been treated as a symbol of good luck. Its meaning is often traced back to ancient Celtic tradition, where rare plants were believed to offer protection and connect people to unseen forces in nature. Each leaf came to represent something different: faith, hope, love, and luck.

Sometimes people need signs, not because it proves anything, but because it gives us something to hold onto. A reminder that even through difficulty, there may still be some unseen force quietly guiding us through.

Vasilisa Mikulishna is a Soviet animated short directed by Roman Davydov, based on old Russian byliny (epic folk tales). The film follows the clever and fearless Vasilisa, whose husband is imprisoned by Prince Vladimir after a conflict among warriors. Refusing to remain passive, she disguises herself as a male ambassador from the Golden Horde and rides to Kiev to outwit the prince’s court. The animation blends medieval Russian iconography with stylized folk art, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Rather than brute force, Vasilisa triumphs through intelligence, charisma, and strategic deception, making her one of the most memorable heroines in Soviet animation history.

He publicly debuted a completely transparent red resin mask. This specific variation kept the iconic Gladiator-style silhouette but featured an entirely see-through ruby red colorway.

Virgil Abloh on Following Your Own Vision (2020)

Virgil Abloh once said, “Life is so short, you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do versus knowing what you can do.”

Virgil often spoke about how his father wanted him to pursue something traditional, encouraging him to study engineering and architecture. He did follow that path academically, but outside of school he was building a completely different world. DJing, attending hip hop shows, and designing clothes were all part of his everyday life. Building what some people might have seen as hobbies, Virgil saw as extensions of his lifestyle and creative identity.

That mindset carried into everything he later built, from Off-White to his collaborations with Nike and eventually his role at Louis Vuitton. Virgil never limited himself to a single lane. Instead, he followed curiosity and trusted his instincts, constantly bending rules and tweaking familiar ideas into something new.

In the end, his career became proof of the quote itself. When you stop measuring your potential through other people’s expectations and start building around what you know you can do, the possibilities open far wider.

The video has since accumulated close to 10 million views on YouTube, and when it resurfaced in 2019 countless people on social media genuinely questioned whether it was real footage.
